30/12/2025: Majestic abbey. A lovely walk to be had in this charming little town.

30/12/2025: Magnificent abbey and church. We visited in early December 2025 and were the only visitors. There's an interesting video (historical fiction) on the second floor of the abbey. The church is free to visit and definitely worth seeing. The museum displays need a complete overhaul in both content and presentation: sometimes simplistic, sometimes opaque and confusing (technical terms are not explained), and sometimes inaccurate (the New Testament is written up to the "11th century" instead of the "2nd century"). We didn't use the tablets; we preferred to consult some scholarly websites.

20/02/2026: Very good restaurant, I highly recommend it. During our week-long stay, we ate there twice. Very good and welcoming. However, the children's pâté could be improved; it wasn't good. Otherwise, everything else was great, we loved it! The "Moo" ice cream concept for children was a nice touch.

20/02/2026: Lack of speed for very few customers. We ordered a lemonade, it was frozen, the waitress had to put it in hot water!

01/11/2025: We had a wonderful time celebrating my birthday and my parents' birthday. The service and cuisine were exceptional. The five-course wine pairing menu was magnificent, bursting with flavor. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Special mention goes to the sommelier, who was very professional and passionate about her work. One of the best restaurants in Nantes, easily rivaling Michelin-starred establishments.

Seated in armchairs arranged like low tables, the owner, as calm as his establishment, served us beautifully prepared dishes with bold and balanced local flavors, given a fresh twist! Excellent and rejuvenating! All the best.

02/01/2026: A memorable moment… but not in a good way. From the very first bite, the tone was set: a baked egg with unmelted cheese and a barely cooked egg white. A very loose interpretation of the concept, undoubtedly artistic. Then came the main course: potato chips, or "fries," placed on top of the dish. Audacious. Minimalist. Probably a new culinary trend I hadn't yet grasped. All served on a cold plate, so I could fully appreciate every nonexistent flavor. Special mention for the overall consistency: nothing was truly good, but at least it was consistent. Thank you for this memorable culinary experience… which I will obviously never repeat.

07/12/2025: We came to eat as a family, and it was a very unpleasant experience. The owner, I presume, was intrusive from beginning to end. We had barely sat down when he started massaging my brother's and father's shoulders. He inserted himself into all our conversations, sat at our table to chat with us, addressed us informally, and made homophobic remarks toward my uncles. He spoke to his colleagues without any restraint, shouting across the room; even the youngest employee seemed embarrassed for us. He was making a spectacle of himself; it was impossible to eat in peace. We were very uncomfortable and hurt by his remarks. He tried to apologize, but we sensed no sincerity. Judging by other negative reviews, we're not the only ones complaining about this kind of behavior.

07/12/2025: The food was simple and good, but I was very surprised to see this restaurant has a 5-star rating… I felt uncomfortable from beginning to end. Between the "shoulder massages" and the homophobic, sexist, and racist remarks from the owner, whom I thank for leaving us with such a wonderful impression of this place we will not be returning to. You can laugh about anything, but not with just anyone. A word to the wise.

11/12/2025: Excellent meal. Pleasant and friendly atmosphere. Our only slight regret was not being able to enjoy the superb view of the kitchen. A shame, but we'll know for our next reservation. Regarding the service: very good, with the possible exception of a slightly overly familiar tone and the use of the informal "tu" form, which wasn't always well-received by my guests, who weren't children...

16/06/2025: Very tasty dishes and an excellent wine list. The amuse were top! The dishes were super tasty and the presentation was a feast for the eyes. Delicious homemade amuses were served with the coffee. Very friendly service. We will gladly return.
