04/06/2026: We waited over 40 minutes for just two tarte flambées, which is far too long, especially since the restaurant wasn't particularly busy when we visited. The tarte flambées were decent, not bad, but nothing special either. Considering the wait time, the quality/service ratio was very disappointing. It's a place that might be suitable for a drink in a pleasant atmosphere, but certainly not for a meal if you're in any kind of hurry. Unfortunately, I won't be returning for a meal.

16/07/2026: I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this place, as well as the food. I don't regret going at all. In fact, it was perhaps one of my favorite moments during my visit to Strasbourg. It's been months already, and I still think about it. The service was quick, the food and drinks we ordered were good, I loved the music, and Philippe and Justine were super friendly. If you're in the area and need a bit of peace and quiet or brunch, I recommend going there.

10/07/2026: Good padel courts. Good atmosphere. WhatsApp group for creating matches. Warm welcome. Courts 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 are very decent. And it's a small, very pleasant club to go to. Level 6 podium p100. Level 5. Level podium p25. Level 7 very good level. See p250. I think. Pizza on site. Cheaper than many other padel clubs with the following packages: the chosen package from 130 euros to 520 euros. Credits can be transferred between members with the membership card at 5 euros each. You have to ask at reception to be added to the groups by Greg or Seb. Charcuterie and cheese platters are available, I believe, on request. Drink beers on the large outdoor terrace with parasols and very nice tables. Great atmosphere on football match nights.

20/06/2026: I've been going to this club for over a year; I discovered padel there. The owners are super friendly and very dedicated; I highly recommend it.

15/07/2026: Strange: it's very expensive and of very poor quality. The galettes are clearly prepared in advance and then reheated, making them very brittle, and the filling is incredibly meager. What a shame.

26/06/2026: First visit since the change of ownership. A "hello" wasn't exactly customary at Françoise's, as everyone knew. It's a shame the two new young owners haven't brought this magic word back into fashion. Even when you arrive with your hands full. Is this a cursed place for saying hello with a smile? Otherwise, two of the three waitresses are smiling and friendly. Given the choice between two places serving coffee for €1.50, which do you think you'd go to? With or without a smile?

20/04/2026: By far my favorite café in Avignon! A very warm atmosphere, ideal for getting some work done, with delicious pastries of course ;) Update 4 years later: A landmark is closing… we'll miss you.

18/05/2026: Nicely located for catching an early morning train to other places in France or Europe. Also a very short walk from Gare du Nord if using Eurostar to get to Paris from London.

04/05/2026: Very close to the metro, the room was decent but the bathroom needs updating. Breakfast was adequate. Friendly staff. It's a shame there's no kettle or fridge in the room. The metro line runs right underneath, which could wake you up at night.

12/04/2026: The food was generally good. A decent crêperie. However, the service could use some improvement, both in terms of organization and friendliness. The concept is to eat with your fingers and get brushed off. The listening is haphazard... One of the waiters is a reflection of his stature: he's condescending: just... arrogant! We ordered coffee with dessert. We never saw it, nor did we ever smell it. In short, while the food lives up to expectations, don't go there expecting pleasant and professional service. What a shame! We must have caught them at the wrong time...

11/04/2026: We came this Saturday, April 11, 2026, around noon. The staff was very pleasant, and the food was very good. I recommend it 100%.

27/06/2026: Family-run hotel, very well located, very clean room and bathroom. The managers are welcoming and friendly. Dinner and breakfast are very reasonably priced; simple but good. No complaints 🙂 I'll keep the address in mind if I'm ever in the area again; I won't hesitate to return.

08/05/2026: There are still some clean, pleasant, inexpensive hotels where they might rip you off with an exorbitant breakfast price. Well, the Hotel de France is one of them. I recommend this reasonably priced hotel; you feel right at home.

16/06/2026: A very good restaurant that only serves local products. A little more expensive than others in the area, but excellent dishes with very generous portions. We opted for à la carte service with gizzard salad, duck breast, and a 300g ribeye steak. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will definitely return.

12/05/2026: One day I stopped for a coffee and saw the generous portions; the aroma alone made my mouth water. I sat down and had a wonderful meal with a very pleasant waiter who was always laughing with the customers. I highly recommend this establishment.

21/07/2026: We enjoyed a delicious cup of tea on a lively street. The comfortable chairs ensure that you are well-situated here, both literally and figuratively.

16/07/2026: A small café in the heart of Brantôme, impeccable service and delicious (homemade) food. The lemon/orange blossom lemonade was delicious, as was the pastry of the day, "Apricot tart and apricot sorbet".

02/08/2026: We had a very good meal at this pub. The service was extremely fast, and the atmosphere was great. A fantastic place!

02/08/2026: Always a very warm welcome and excellent service, located on the main square in the center of Angers, boasting a superb terrace and a very affordable menu, I highly recommend it.

19/07/2026: Very disappointed. This is a bar we used to go to. I don't know if there's been a change of ownership in the meantime, but we received poor service. The wait was extremely long, and the staff were unpleasant. It was impossible to get a menu to order drinks; we had to say what we wanted without knowing what they offered, and the waiter got our order wrong. The soft drinks were full of ice cubes and had no taste whatsoever.

14/07/2026: A very pleasant location, but unfortunately, the service doesn't live up to expectations. Credit cards are only accepted for purchases over €10, and the ATM is out of order. We don't receive a receipt explaining the prices when we come in for a drink. We're initially quoted €5 and some change, and then on the second visit, it's €7 – it seems a bit hit or miss... Providing a receipt would be helpful. Is this a tourist trap?

31/03/2026: We had a very good and plentiful breakfast, with a lovely view of the port of Honfleur.

11/03/2026: While strolling through town at lunchtime, we stopped in front of this restaurant, which looked inviting from the outside. At the entrance, there was no greeting. We sat down anyway and looked at the menu. Since it simply didn't correspond to what we were in the mood for, we politely decided to leave, after apologizing. It was then that the manager—who hadn't seen fit to speak to us until then—exclaimed loudly: "They're leaving, that's enough, bye." It's always surprising to see how some establishments manage to distinguish themselves not by the quality of their food, but by the sheer poverty of their customer service. A customer has every right not to be drawn to a menu. However, subjecting them to such vulgar remarks reveals a particularly worrying level of professionalism. Clearly, in this establishment, respect for the customer is not only absent: it seems to be fully embraced.
