22/06/2026: A very warm welcome, perfectly suited to our schedule. The quadruple room was perfect, and the breakfast was excellent. Excellent value for money. The owner was very kind. I highly recommend it.

12/05/2026: The good points: The rooms are spacious and pleasant. The billiard room is open 24/7. The bad points: The staff is unfriendly. There was no heating in the room (it was 2 degrees Celsius at night), we were very cold.

28/07/2026: Even though there was no more room inside and we had to enjoy our treats outside in the lovely weather, the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff member more than made up for it. Thank you so much!

28/07/2026: Most unpleasant staff. I ordered a latte and needed some extra milk. The lady literally made a face and told me that for next time it’s 80cents for extra milk.

21/11/2025: Hello everyone reading my reviews. Excellent food, impeccable service, and a lovely setting near the Lay River and the port of L'Aiguillon. I highly recommend this place. The food is sure to whet your appetite, especially the fish dishes, or, for me, the eel with garlic and parsley – my favorite dish here. What more could you ask for? Enjoy your meal!

26/06/2026: I was with a tour group. Rooms are small by USA standards but they are immaculate,everything works.Air conditioning was adequate and it was 95 degrees outside.

15/06/2026: Great hotel in a converted convent, in old town and a short stroll from the Palace of Popes. The pool needs attention, but it's pretty remarkable to have one at all in a property like this, especially with how hot Avignon can get in summer. Dinner at the restaurant was better than passable, and fresh orange juice for breakfast. Ask for a room in the historic rather than the new building.

01/03/2026: The hotel is very well located, with parking, a decent room for the price, and a comfortable mattress. It was very quiet. Breakfast was simple. The welcome was very warm. Dinner at the hotel restaurant in the evening was also very pleasant, with delicious dishes.

21/02/2026: A rather disappointing experience. We had to wait a very long time to order, even though there wasn't a queue. The woman at the entrance was really unwelcoming, which created a bad atmosphere right from the start. It's a shame, because you expect a minimum of consideration when you come to a bar/restaurant. I hope the service will improve. The interior decor is very nice.

20/02/2026: Forced to queue to order, so no service, and when we were comfortably seated to drink our glass, we were cleared out to make room for a larger order.

21/07/2026: Years without problems; one order delivered on July 17th, food poisoning, 3 days of suffering.

11/07/2026: One pizza was missing, and when I called, the employee insulted me and kept my pizza.

20/07/2026: Poor communication, disappointed with the service. No traditional baguette or anything else for breakfast. Luckily we found a McDonald's next door to have our breakfast.

09/07/2026: I came in today to buy pastries and a loaf of bread. No greeting, no smile whatsoever. The croissants were very greasy. The white bread was... Extremely disappointed. It's nothing like the Ange I used to love... This needs serious improvement, as it's not the first time I've been poorly received, and the quality of the products... well, let's just say it's beyond words.

24/05/2026: The air conditioning was out of order, the power outlets didn't work (problem resolved that evening), there was no bathroom shelf (only the brackets were there), there were holes from the old curtain rods, the shower drain was clogged and drained poorly, the picture frame was broken, there was only one small bottle of still water as a welcome gift, and only one small bar of soap. The restaurant was struggling to serve all the rented rooms (a large group was present that evening), there was only one waitress for both the dining room and the terrace, the wait was too long, and we left before finishing our meal. It felt like we were on a set of "Kitchen Nightmares." Breakfast was in the same vein. The quality of the meal was low. The receptionist on Saturday didn't listen to our comments. Clearly, this establishment only survives thanks to the golf course. It doesn't deserve 3 stars!

24/05/2026: Golf course nice but under repair everywhere. Food dreadful, same menu for the past 2 years. Staff really nice but understaffed so the wait is ridiculous. Used to be a great place. Will never eat there again.

03/06/2026: We spent two nights and three days there and left feeling incredibly relaxed. The welcome was very friendly and courteous, the atmosphere was calm and very restful, our room was spacious and clean with a view of the phoenixes in the large garden and the pool, the beds were very comfortable, we really enjoyed the jacuzzi, the thalassotherapy treatments were excellent, and the restaurant was great too. Go for it, you won't be disappointed! 💣💯

02/06/2026: The hotel was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The service was good, but there weren't enough time slots for some wellness treatments.

28/05/2026: The A/C is very weak with temperatures being over 30C outside. The room stayed hot throughout the night and it was difficult to sleep. Setting the A/C to the lowest temperature made no difference.

14/04/2026: The Mr who work at the reception is very rude , when you speak English , he will hang off the phone directly

22/07/2026: Well, I think that if you don't know how to make a proper flan... you should avoid selling a disgusting piece of pastry for more than 5 euros a slice... the whipped cream... no taste at all... it looks like a tourist trap.

16/07/2026: The pastries are excellent, especially the apple-almond tart, the kirsch biscuit, and the cheese biscuit... However, our last visit was disastrous. We were turned away by a waitress on the pretext that the restaurant was full. These things happen, and we should have made a reservation, but there are more polite ways and a more courteous tone to use when informing loyal Colmar customers of over 30 years. Thankfully, not all the staff are so condescending.

14/01/2026: A quiet Monday, gloomy but pleasant weather. I had a ribeye steak, butter 👍, and for dessert, profiteroles—so good! For a foodie like me, thank you for spoiling me 😉

07/01/2026: We came for a hot chocolate and had a wonderful time at M5. The team was fantastic, managing a fall outside while also assisting customers inside. They were incredibly friendly. The hot chocolate was indulgent and delicious! A huge thank you, with a special mention for Jay 😉
