31/07/2026: UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!! This place is permanently closed, and Le Foch is complicit!!! I tried calling 10 times and got no answer. I sent a message on Instagram, and their account was deleted (I verified this through a friend). Groupon continues to sell coupons without any scruples!!!! DO NOT BUY!!

14/07/2026: Le Foch is permanently closed. Groupon continues to sell vouchers and wants to issue refunds in Groupon vouchers, even though they are legally obligated to reimburse customers if they are within the voucher's expiration date. Don't buy from this restaurant; the shutters are down, and mail is piling up outside the door.

15/09/2026: What a terrible experience! The two waiters were simply very unpleasant. It was as if we were interrupting their work. Their tone, their cold and curt responses, and their overall attitude clearly made the customer feel unwelcome. The food was good, but the service really needs improvement. A minimum of politeness, courtesy, and basic manners would be the very least one could expect in an establishment that serves the public. I also don't understand how this restaurant can be listed in Le Petit Futé. It's a real shame, because the quality of the food isn't enough to make up for such an unpleasant welcome. I also want to preemptively address this, given the lengthy posts you systematically write in response to negative reviews: we are polite and respectful people. While this review is certainly unpleasant to read, it is genuine and sincerely reflects our experience. We were present, we know what we experienced, and we fully stand by what we wrote. Everyone is free to share their experience and opinion, respecting the rules and freedom of expression. Therefore, there's no need to rewrite our experience, question our visit, or try to portray us as people we're not. As for the contemptuous tone used in your responses to negative reviews, we simply suggest you keep it to yourself. A professional and respectful response would certainly be more constructive. And finally: it seems unpleasant people have a surprisingly long life expectancy… Given the level of unpleasantness displayed here, perhaps you've found the magic formula. At this rate, the bicentennial awaits you at the end of the road! First and last time. PS: Thank you for your magnificent response… very predictable in its form… Just another day in the life for you… I'll let everyone form their own opinion. But I'll reiterate: the food is good, despite your deplorable service.

12/09/2026: As usual, I had a wonderful evening at La Petite Folie. It's a restaurant I adore, my favorite in Orléans and beyond. The food is divine, and the service is both warm and professional. The restaurant's location is beautiful, on a lovely square. I come to La Petite Folie whenever I'm in Orléans, and it's always a great pleasure.

09/10/2026: Watery omelet, cold fries, wilted salad, service without a smile or thank you, credit card receipt thrown on the table, it's shameful and a shame because the decor is warm and cozy.

13/08/2026: I wanted to return to this restaurant, which brought back fond memories of my apprenticeship in the same village. Delicious, locally sourced cuisine—finally, a restaurant that makes an effort to satisfy its customers! The daily special, prepared according to Alsatian tradition, was a true delight for the taste buds! The tarte flambée was excellent 🤩 Well done to the owner and his team! The young waitress was very friendly and smiling. In short, everything was perfect for a wonderful experience.

13/09/2026: Fantastic stay at La Bastide de Montchamp! The welcome was very friendly, and we were delighted to receive excellent service. The yurt was very comfortable with a superb private bathroom. We were lucky enough to meet almost all the family members, and they were all very friendly. Our absolute favorite part was the adorable dogs who accompanied us throughout our stay. They waited for us at the gate or even in front of the door in the morning, which was a pure joy. I don't understand why there are negative reviews; everyone has different tastes, but for us, it was a wonderful stay. We will definitely come back to see you again. 29/08/2026: We spent one night in a gypsy caravan with my 9-year-old daughter. The welcome, the host's kindness, the cleanliness of the caravan, and the breakfast—everything was perfect! I highly recommend it 😊

30/10/2026: Fredricko is the Star of Paris! I saw some people have some really rude statements…. He made the dinner a hysterical, experience out of a movie. His Banter is unmatched and the BEST EVER! True Professional in a forgotten setting of dining, but bring your sense of humor people. He provides, top notch service while being funny and entertaining making the Dinner unforgettable. go check upstairs to see the side of Notre Dame, upstairs decor is unbelievable to see and wine cellar.. my favorite part was French Onion Soup

16/10/2026: A very cozy restaurant, located in the heart of Paris, and it's the best on the island. I've been living here for a month, and I only go here for dinner. The prices are lower than in other Parisian restaurants, and the food is delicious, especially the snails 🐌. The restaurant's design is very unusual, it's like being in another time, like 100 years ago. Lots of locals come here, which says a lot. I recommend this restaurant for its delicious food, the attentive waiters (they speak many languages, and it's so nice when they speak their native language), and the speed at which they serve dishes. This place is perfect for a romantic evening: subdued lighting, candles 🕯️, and the service is super ❤️ I highly recommend this restaurant. Visit at least once, and you won't regret it.

11/04/2026: A great place to stop on a long road trip. The hotel is adjacent to the highway. Conveniently located. Despite the proximity to the highway, the rooms are quiet. Large, comfortable, clean rooms. The food in the restaurant is very inexpensive by French prices and, most importantly, delicious and beautifully served. The staff is friendly and smiling. We arrived late at night at 10:20 PM, despite the late hour and the staff being tired from the day, we were greeted with a smile and fed, even though it was late. Excellent breakfast and a very nice atmosphere in the bar. We didn't expect a roadside hotel to be so clean, cozy, and excellent value for money. And most importantly, it is open for check-in until 10:30 PM.

12/10/2026: Paying €8 for two coffees is already excessive, but to be treated with such contempt is unacceptable. The staff is particularly unpleasant. They categorically refused to serve a simple carafe of water, which is mandatory when ordering anything—instead, they offered a single, tiny glassful, dispensed sparingly. The final straw came when the bill arrived: they refused to accept credit card payments under €10. Imposing this kind of minimum in 2026 is either disingenuous or a clear attempt to force customers to spend more. The concept of customer service is completely absent. Avoid this place; other establishments in the neighborhood are far more deserving of your money.

28/09/2026: The manager is incredibly unpleasant and extremely arrogant. €9 for two supermarket apricot juices... the same price as a good homemade chai latte with a view of the docks! A real tourist trap, beware!

28/09/2026: Good atmosphere. Lots of young people. Large terrace overlooking the square. Pedestrian-friendly area. I've never eaten there, so I can't comment on the food. As for the service, it all depends on the waiters or waitresses. With a wheat beer, I asked twice for a slice of lemon. The waitress kept saying she'd be back, but even when she walked past our table, it didn't seem to register. She wasn't very friendly, unlike some of her colleagues.

06/10/2026: We arrived at 11:45 am on market day to have a drink... But the waitress immediately told us, "I know it's not the done thing, but you'll have to vacate the table by noon." 🤣🤣 She just didn't drink an aperitif in 15 minutes, especially when the sun is shining! ☀️ But no big deal, thanks to her, we found a great terrace nearby with very friendly staff where we had time to enjoy our aperitif and then had lunch... The FOX has a fantastic sunny terrace and they were very nice. We'll definitely go back when we're in Sélestat.

30/09/2026: Probably one of the worst experiences I've had in France. I live here and speak French, yet I was answered in English, in a particularly unpleasant tone. The coffee and desserts were frankly disappointing, not to mention the service. When I simply tried to sit at a table outside, a woman started gesturing wildly and curtly told me, "NO, sit inside." Such an unpleasant experience for a coffee and dessert is quite remarkable. I absolutely do not recommend this establishment.
