28/04/2026: If you are ever spat on in the face (literally) by a taxi driver outside this restaurant, the waiters who witnessed the incident will refuse to testify if you file a complaint.
I recommend avoiding this establishment.

16/07/2026: The hostel is ideally located for exploring the English Channel and the D-Day beaches. Our room on the second floor wasn't very large, but it was adequate. The bathroom is small, and I don't like showers in bathtubs. Breakfast was perfect, but entirely pre-packaged! We received a warm welcome, but we didn't see the owner again afterward, neither at breakfast nor upon our departure after two nights—that's not the spirit of a bed and breakfast!

21/07/2026: Avoid at all costs. High prices for industrial food and mediocre service: 22 euros for industrial "fish and chips" with three small wilted salad leaves (no seasoning), while the children's menu is just a children's dish with industrial fries at 14.50.
11/07/2026: We came by chance because there was a screen showing the football match. We absolutely loved the food and the very friendly welcome. Thank you for a lovely time!

12/07/2026: I went to the Chalet de l'Étang for lunch today.
The setting is very welcoming, and the waiter was very pleasant.
I enjoyed a hamburger which was excellent.
Congratulations to the kitchen!
I met the owner, who is very friendly.
11/07/2026: I came to the Lac du Quesnoy campsite and I go for a drink on the terrace in the morning. The guy who serves is great, and there's a lovely brunette woman there too. I really enjoy spending time by the lake; the view is superb. I highly recommend it! 😎👍👍👍

09/03/2026: The hotel lost my reservation, which I only discovered one week before arrival during peak season. I had already paid a €130 deposit 4 months prior.
The deposit was eventually refunded, but being left without accommodation at such short notice created an extremely stressful situation and forced me to find last-minute lodging elsewhere at a much higher price. Hotel Le Dahu was of no help, despite this being their error. I recommend avoiding them.

We had some disgusting sausages and lasagna...
The cashier was unfriendly; when we asked him if he had pepper, he was the only one who got the second star for service. The waitress was smiling (lucky for the owner!). I think they're definitely not the same as they used to be. We didn't even want to have coffee after lunch.

31/07/2026: A fantastic place we discovered during our holiday in Piau Engaly, thanks to the apartment owner. It was incredibly pleasant, the food was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. In short, nothing to complain about – a place to remember.

09/05/2026: We stopped for an aperitif and to our surprise, the waitress told us they didn't have any Ricard! Because the owner doesn't like it!
