25/08/2026: Very disappointed. I ordered a naan kebab without a menu and an XXL taco without a menu. The naan had no raw vegetables, no sauce, and no flavor. Then I wanted to get two cans of beer, and they charged me €22.50! Outrageous! €2 ​​per can. I think they charged me way more than I should have. Avoid this place!

22/10/2026: We were very disappointed with our experience at Chez Julien brasserie. The food itself was excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Unfortunately, the rest of the meal was very disappointing. We went there during the week with colleagues for our lunch break, when the restaurant was nearly empty. Despite this, the service was disastrous: we had to wait 45 minutes just for our order to be taken! As a result, we were late for work. The dishes were clearly unhygienic (lipstick stains were still visible on the glasses). Furthermore, the young apprentice/trainee was left completely alone in the dining room without any supervision; he was completely overwhelmed, even though he obviously shouldn't have been responsible for that alone.

06/03/2026: Over the weekend, we came as a group of six adults for lunch on a Saturday. We hadn't been to this restaurant before… what a great choice!!! A friendly and welcoming team, quick service! And the food… Whether it was the starter, the main course, or the dessert: all EXCELLENT!!! We ate incredibly well, and you can be sure that not one of us left the restaurant hungry! The value for money is unbeatable! Quality ingredients. Outside of peak season, they offer a set menu with a few choices, including meat and fish! There's something for everyone. We were delighted! And we'll definitely be back if we have the chance!

02/11/2026: Loyal customers for many years, we were particularly disappointed by the sluggish and extremely slow service (an hour before our starter arrived, which was then forgotten, while our main courses arrived first and were kept lukewarm, with raw steamed potatoes). The waiters were busy clearing vacated tables instead of clearing ours and taking our dessert order. In short, over two hours of frustration. We finally got up to pay and get our dessert and coffee elsewhere. What a disappointment! The owner's response left me stunned. I've been a loyal customer for many years, and year-round at that. I expected an apology and, above all, a "don't hesitate to come back, it was just a minor setback, we'll do better next time," but it was the complete opposite: don't come back!! It's simply unbelievable and reflects a borderline personality.

04/09/2026: A full table already suggests a good place to eat. We hadn't made a reservation, but we were lucky. After a charcuterie and cheese platter, we opted for duck confit and beef cheeks. Excellent. Flavorful and generous portions. Many other options available. Very friendly and efficient service! You won't be disappointed.

13/10/2026: Beautiful, authentic place with a warm welcome. The small brunch option included overcooked scrambled eggs, the bread was good, but the jams were just okay. A bit pricey for what it was.

08/09/2026: I liked this place. Has very family kind of atmosphere. You can enjoy food that is made right in front of you. Owner is a very sweet man who is talking care of everything and everyone. If you want something where you can have all you can eat sushi for good price and good service: come here. By the way you can have unlimited amounts of ice cream 🍨

05/05/2026: We spent three nights at this hotel. The staff is very welcoming and the rooms are very pleasant. There was a small problem with a spring in room 414, but it was quickly resolved. The housekeeping staff is excellent. The food is very good. Special mention to the lady who was in charge of breakfast on Saturday, May 2nd. She had incredible energy serving the guests, covering miles during service to replenish the food: well done! The only downside was the lack of cloth napkins on the tables. While this isn't a big deal, the half-sized white paper napkins are more like something you'd find at a mobile chip shop—no, not in a Mercure hotel.

04/05/2026: I was very disappointed with this hotel. I had booked a special package that included a bottle of wine in the room upon arrival and a late dinner. However, the wine was mediocre; we didn't drink it. We didn't use the late dinner because we were planning to enjoy the indoor pool, but it was so cold that we only took a quick dip. This hotel is absolutely not worth the price I paid!

08/09/2026: What a disappointment! The Welsh rarebit tasted like reheated food. The service was mediocre at best; we asked for a carafe of water and bread, which was never brought. The waitress was cold, didn't know the menu, and didn't even bother to ask. And to top it all off, the Irish coffee was served in a broken glass.

10/10/2026: A decent but somewhat disappointing experience. The prepared beef tartare didn't win me over; it was a bit too rich for my taste, and the tiramisu was very soggy, which detracted from the lightness of the dessert. The bill, without wine, seemed high considering the overall experience. There was also a slight downside to the atmosphere, with a rather rough exchange between a waiter and a new waitress in front of the other customers. On the plus side, however, they offered small glasses of wine upon arrival, a nice touch. The setting is pleasant, right across from the cathedral. Despite this, the experience didn't make me want to return.

02/08/2026: Beautiful, an oasis of peace with a stunning view of the village of Eze. The owners are very kind. A quaint and authentic place. Don't expect luxury, but if you want to enjoy the view and be in peace, this is it.
