07/09/2026: The daily special is either veal (€19) or sea bream ceviche (€20). We ordered two daily specials: veal and sea bream. The veal was fine. We were served a small whole grilled sea bream and charged €29... instead of €20. Only the daily specials were mentioned when we ordered. Subtle and slightly underhanded. It was the sea bream on the menu, not the daily special... I certainly won't be back! It's not the price, it's the method that bothers me.

31/08/2026: Meh. Went for a crepe in the afternoon, waited ages just to take our order even though the place was practically empty. When it came time to pay, the waiter grumbled because he was constantly going back and forth between the dining room and the terrace downstairs… he barely said goodbye, you could tell he was fed up. He should find another line of work. The exterior is beautiful and inviting, but once inside, you just want to leave.

30/09/2026: A particularly disappointing experience at Le Cheval Blanc in Brunstatt. We ordered vol-au-vent, which were served cold. We simply pointed out the problem, which seems like the least one could do when a dish is served in such a state. The owner's reaction was particularly shocking: she didn't listen at all, acting like we were being difficult, having just gone back into the kitchen, and the pasta was completely dry. Her curt response told us to go eat elsewhere. Unfortunately, a dish can be unsatisfactory or arrive cold; that can happen. However, dismissing a legitimate customer complaint and telling them to go somewhere else is absolutely not a proper way to treat customers. We came to have a good time and what we remember most is the lack of consideration and the manager's attitude. After this complaint, which was also made by several other customers, one vol-au-vent wasn't charged, and they were inedible. Personally, after such a reception, I will not return to this establishment and I do not recommend it.

20/09/2026: ⭐️⭐️ A rather underwhelming experience, in every sense of the word. There were four adults and one child in our party. We know that a street festival day can be hectic for a restaurant, and we understand there might be a bit of a wait. But this was excessive… It took 30 minutes for our appetizers, the portions were tiny, and our child's fries arrived after we'd already finished eating! 😳 To top it all off, it took 15 minutes to pay… The waitress seemed completely overwhelmed, and the organization was frankly chaotic. And the best for last: we left the table starving! 😂 So we ended up going to get a merguez sandwich a little further up the street to finally have something in our stomachs! We're not asking for enormous plates or military-style service, especially on a festival day. But when four people leave a restaurant still hungry, there's definitely a problem… It's a shame, because with a little more quantity, organization, and responsiveness, the experience would certainly have been very different.

07/09/2026: They offer sandwiches, but beware! After a night of illness, I definitely don't recommend them. The manager prepared the sandwiches in front of us using mayonnaise from a large bucket that, while refrigerated, was clearly a bit stale... my stomach still remembers it. The tea room isn't inviting; the beach across the street is much nicer.

21/10/2026: A real treat! The dining room is a bit dark but nicely decorated, and the crepes are delicious. You can enjoy a wonderful meal without breaking the bank.

30/09/2026: The pork noodles were extremely salty. Plus, a mouse wandered between our legs at lunchtime.

23/10/2026: We had a fantastic evening at La Ficelle, the food was excellent: the salmon tartare and the ravioli gratin were delicious. The cocktails were great too, I highly recommend the Hugo Spritz ;) The servers were very kind and attentive!

21/10/2026: I really enjoyed it, especially because of the kindness of the people 🧍‍♀️ the food was absolutely delicious 👌 and the atmosphere was fantastic!! I highly recommend it for breakfast or any other meal ❤️

06/10/2026: Not great, the dining room is small with too many booths; if you're seated at the back and it's crowded, it's a real struggle to get to the restroom. I ordered a medium-rare hanger steak and received a rare one. The staff were friendly, but the price of the meal didn't reflect the quality. Disappointing

20/08/2026: Arrived just before 2pm. Their website clearly states open till 3. People were in the restaurant still being served food and we were told food was ‘finished’. It appears previous reviews are correct and they are not interested in new customers! Very short sighted. Extremely unwelcoming owner. I wish her luck in keeping the business alive!

19/09/2026: The mussels were overcooked, I didn't even have time to finish my fries, so we took the dish away.

13/09/2026: The managers and servers are very pleasant, welcoming, and professional! They are also very accommodating when you come with a stroller, which is really much appreciated. The dishes were delicious, made with high-quality ingredients! A wonderful discovery, I highly recommend it! Thank you from the people of Lille, and see you soon!

07/10/2026: Dry, stale, and sparsely filled products, but at a high price. One would expect quality service in return, but no. The service is just like the products: poor. No smiles, vulgar language. No consistency whatsoever. This "bakery" is one to avoid.

26/09/2026: The fish and chips were inedible, for €15.90. Heated in the microwave, horribly greasy... I won't be back.

10/10/2026: We had a great time at this pizzeria. I don't understand some of the comments, actually. Luckily, we didn't read into them before we came. Very pleasant waitresses, delicious pizzas, lovely atmosphere. We'll gladly come back! 🍕

27/10/2026: We had a wonderful time on the terrace overlooking the magnificent town hall. The bistro-style cuisine was excellent, and the staff were friendly and attentive. We'll be back!

11/08/2026: Good brasserie-style food and very decent pizzas. We also received excellent service with smiles, attentiveness, and responsiveness. The prices are quite reasonable. It's a proper restaurant, not a cafeteria as one might think, since it's located inside the Super U supermarket in Loudéac.

27/07/2026: The decor is dated (some might like that) but spacious, with a lovely terrace. The starters were good, and we only ordered two different main courses: both were very average. The only dessert we tried was French toast, which was a complete failure—hard and not at all moist. Not enough to make us want to go back!

19/07/2026: The Caesar salad was low quality. It was just lettuce, chicken, croutons, and industrial mayonnaise.

18/10/2026: Exceptional, impeccable service, delicious, very fresh, and exquisitely prepared dishes. The portions are more than generous, and the chef knows how to guide you and suggest the best combinations. A return visit is definitely in order, and very soon!

18/10/2026: A truly wonderful discovery: impeccable, attentive, and professional service in a cozy atmosphere. For starters, Ganda ham croquettes: melt-in-your-mouth delicious. For the main course, a lamb shank, incredibly tender, accompanied by baby vegetables and a meat jus that delighted our palates. And we finished by sharing Moroccan tea with the Chef, a very pleasant encounter 😊 Thank you

30/08/2026: Great hotel for a road trip stop! We stayed here for a night during our trip and were really impressed by the bright and unique design featuring cool industrial gear patterns on the walls. The vibrant green sink and sleek shower design added a fun, modern touch to the stay. Both the bedroom and the bathroom were absolutely spotless. The bed was large and cozy with fresh linens, ensuring a great night's sleep. The breakfast was good. While the selection was on the smaller side, it had everything you need — cheese, cold cuts, eggs, yogurts (including vegan options), and, of course, delicious coffee to start the day. The hotel provides free parking, and finding a spot was completely problem-free in the night. It is a huge plus that they welcome pets with no issues. We would definitely stay here again.
