14/07/2026: We ordered three mango-passion fruit "Refreschiz" on the terrace. The drink was nothing like its picture, which suggested it contained fruit juice. We didn't think to ask what the drinks were made of, but oh well… for €13.50 (€4.50 each for a 25cl drink), we got a bland iced tea with little flavor, or a very diluted and very cold syrup, which was its only redeeming feature. The service was very friendly, but I definitely feel like I threw my money away.

I’d also like to thank the young blonde woman who works there (sorry i don’t know ur name) I came in once because my phone was off due to a battery issue, and she kindly offered to let me charge it. 22/06/2026: The staff at Café des Arts in Evreux, located right in the city center, were awful. We were in a group, just relaxing, and the woman who served us deserved a zero. She was incredibly courteous; there was absolutely nothing there. When we handed her the money, she put it back on the table, not even a smile. Not a warm welcome, not even a hint of hospitality. Frankly, I strongly advise against going there!

30/03/2026: Terrible experience. We booked a triple room for two nights. At arrival, the electronic key didn't work. We got a new one at the desk, and after some tries, it opened the door. We went out and came back at 11 PM. It was very cold outside. The key didn't work again. We went to the reception. The receptionist gave us another key and told us not to put it near the phone (we already knew this). We tried again, but it still didn't work. We called the receptionist to our door. He saw the problem while we were freezing outside. He opened the door with a physical key, took our cards, and told us "we will see tomorrow morning". So, we were in a room without keys, unable to go out, in a half-empty hotel. Inside the room, the third bed was missing sheets and a duvet. Worse, the pillowcase had blood on it. We went to the reception again. They just gave us the linens to make the bed ourselves. The next morning, we went to breakfast. The buffet breakfast was actually quite rich and good. We hoped they had a solution for the room, but nothing. The night employee even took the only physical master key with him. We had to wait. Their new solution was: "come to the reception every time you need to open your door". We had to stay for two nights, so this idea was total madness. We complained again. Finally, the only good employee came to check the door. He understood the door battery was dead and changed it. After that, it finally worked.

13/09/2025: Fantastic restaurant. I came with my daughter and granddaughter and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Special mention to the attentive and friendly waiter and waitress. Top-notch service!

08/09/2025: The server was super friendly and very dedicated, and he answered my many questions with pleasure and kindness (and gave excellent wine advice). Very good food and delicious local produce, well done to the chef. I recommend it 100%.

04/08/2026: The worst restaurant ever. A manager who yells at her employees. We were supposed to leave the table at 9 pm for the next reservation, but at 9:31 pm we still hadn't received our food. The dishes were sloppy, just... [The pizza base is awful] to avoid.

17/06/2026: I've been going to this restaurant with my team since 2014, but today's lunchtime experience was very disappointing. The waitress was unpleasant. The menu is quite limited (mainly pizzas and salads). I ordered a Caesar salad and asked to replace the chicken, which isn't halal, with another ingredient like eggs, tuna, or cheese, but this was refused, even though eggs are present in other dishes. There was no flexibility or compensation offered. In the end, I paid €17 for a salad with no real possibility of making an alternative. A disappointing experience.

05/07/2026: Visit in May 2026 Unfortunately, the salmon lasagna was indigestible; I vomited it all up a few hours later. I should mention that I have no allergies. I'm giving three stars for the pleasant service and the choice of dishes.

06/05/2026: We booked this hotel from Sunday to Tuesday, but we fled after the first night because the conditions were so appalling. From the moment we arrived, a smell of damp and stale carpet literally hit us like a ton of bricks, not to mention the smelly sheets. Cleanliness was clearly nonexistent: visible dust, carpets that obviously hadn't been vacuumed in ages… We seriously wondered if the room was cleaned between guests. We had booked a room with a large terrace, but there was another unpleasant surprise: the glass door didn't even lock, the lock was broken. So anyone could get in, especially since the terrace was connected to others. In terms of security, it was simply unacceptable. As for the bathroom, it was probably the worst: a deplorable state for a hotel that dares to advertise itself as a 3-star hotel. The towel warmer was covered in streaks, the shower glass was coated in limescale, the grout was black, the mirror was dirty… and to top it all off, there was a dead spider on the wall as soon as we arrived. A live spider, maybe, in the countryside, but a dead one? It just proves that the hotel hadn't been cleaned. When we tried to mention it to reception, the response was astounding: the receptionist calmly explained that the hotel is old and has been undergoing renovations for 3-4 years, and that some guests don't complain. Good for them, but that in no way justifies such a lack of hygiene and professionalism. Finally, the manager is simply unreachable: no response to our messages, neither through Booking.com nor by email directly to the hotel. Customer service is nonexistent. In short, a disastrous experience, unworthy of a 3-star rating, which we absolutely do not recommend.

04/05/2026: “A trip back in time… unfortunately not the right time” ⭐☆☆☆☆ First off, kudos to the photos on Booking.com, because frankly, passing this dump off as a charming hotel is quite an achievement. The reality is far less flattering. We arrived and the first thing that hit us was the smell of damp. Not a subtle odor, no. A full-blown, unmistakable scent of a flooded cellar that permeated everything: hallways, room, linens. Speaking of linens, the sheets… how to put it… clearly recycled from a previous stay. The dust on the furniture was so thick that we felt like we were disturbing something. Breakfast was just like the rest: lukewarm coffee, stale baguette, and jam of unknown age. The owner, for his part, didn't see fit to lift a finger when we voiced our concerns. A shrug and that was that. On the security front, the lock barely held, the window didn't close properly… we slept with our wallets under our pillows. The pool was freezing cold; it was impossible to stay in it for more than 30 seconds. The only redeeming feature was the pleasant setting, but the lawn hadn't been mowed in ages, so even that was a bit of a mess. A quick call to a gardener wouldn't have cost much. In short, avoid it.

03/07/2026: Puzzled to see the average rating of this place is only 3 stars. Its an unabashed traditional French restaurant. My experience is that it is a very good one! Really top quality ingredients, well prepared and presented, with nice wine. If that isn't what you want, don't go there! There are plenty of other places in Les Halles Paul Bocuse.

24/06/2026: A delightful surprise awaits at the Passionnement Truffes restaurant, located in the legendary Marché de Lyon Paul Bocuse. Dishes are prepared to perfection, following the purest French tradition, and are surprisingly fresh and well-prepared. Highlights include the Volleyball and Mushroom Fricassee with Morel Cream and the Veal Rognons with Port Sauce.
