02/07/2026: Unbelievable! Nothing fresh, main course and dessert served at the same time, nonexistent "presentation." To top it all off: the sexist remarks made by the manager when I was the only woman at the table: "Only one woman for all these men, wow, they're hungry at that age!" - simply outrageous.

02/07/2026: Catastrophic service and appalling welcome. The waitress didn't crack a single smile, the service was incredibly slow, but it's her attitude that's truly unacceptable. When we waited, she texted us: "You'll have to wait, I'm working alone on the terrace." To top it all off, when we wanted to add something to our order right after placing it, she curtly replied: "You should have asked at the beginning." Being overwhelmed is one thing, being aggressive and rude to customers is quite another. Avoid at all costs.

10/08/2026: We were very disappointed with our experience. The restaurant clearly advertised a mixed platter for €12 during happy hour instead of €25, so we ordered it, specifying that we wanted to take advantage of the offer. Imagine our surprise when the bill arrived: the platter was charged at €25! When we pointed this out, instead of simply acknowledging the error and correcting it, they basically told us we had "misunderstood" the offer. How convenient… Mistakes happen, but blaming the customer when we specifically mentioned the promotion when ordering is frankly unacceptable. If the advertised offer isn't valid as stated, they shouldn't have promoted it at all. In short, a disappointing experience, especially considering we were charged twice the advertised price. We won't be returning.

09/08/2026: The food was fine; I ordered a toasted sandwich which was supposed to come with a salad, but it consisted of just a few lettuce leaves with some sauce on top. The waitress was very pushy and gave the impression that she wanted us off the terrace, even though it was practically empty, and was also very rude otherwise. I certainly would not recommend eating here.

24/07/2026: We ordered ice cream and a café crème. I asked for napkins, but they never arrived. Then, she served me my café crème, which had spilled into the saucer, with the sugar packets swimming in the coffee. I showed her the cup, but she didn't react. It seems she's in the habit of carrying her tray crooked. 24/07/26 The place is quiet and pleasant.

14/07/2026: The south used to be my favorite place, I held meetings there with my clients to discuss things and have a good time with a beautiful view, but recently it has changed, the staff is not up to par at all, too much waiting, things are forgotten, the food is not great, etc. In short, today I just wanted to tell you that you have lost a client who had been a client of yours for 7 years now and you are losing several clients unfortunately.

18/07/2026: The service overall wasn't great. The waiter who served us wasn't very friendly; he rushed us to order, which was unpleasant!

26/07/2026: We booked on the spur of the moment. The €39 set menu offers a choice of fish and meat dishes and is excellent brasserie fare. We started with foie gras (excellent!) and enjoyed Marmite and braised beef as our main courses. The children's cod was cooked to perfection and was a lovely piece of fillet. For dessert, we were served cheese, ice cream, and a generous mango tartlet. The service was quick and attentive. Thank you so much! ❤️

25/07/2026: If I had known, I would have read the reviews before coming… my experience was entirely representative of them. We arrived as a party of five and were greeted with disdain because, apparently, adding a chair to a table was a problem… I should mention that the terrace was empty. In the end, she seated us at the very back of the terrace, and my mother was sitting outside; we really felt like we were intruding. Then, when we asked to unfold the parasol, it felt like we were asking for the moon (is it too much to ask to be in the shade in the middle of July on the French Riviera, perhaps?). Once we were seated, she immediately offered us a bottle of beach water. Surprise when the bill arrived: €7 for a 75cl bottle. The dishes were decent, but nothing exceptional, and the portions were like something from a children's menu. That, combined with the appalling service, made us very disappointed. Thankfully, the youngest waitress raised the bar a bit. The Zaz playlist on repeat was a bit much too. And to top it all off, we had to breathe in our neighbors' cigarette smoke. In short, don't be fooled by the rose offered when you look at the menu. RUN!

27/04/2026: To begin with, the service was a bit complicated from the start, and I found it difficult to get used to right away, but the location is interesting for a strategic spot. I think it's good that you can have this kind of thing, even if you think the opposite, but in any case, it makes a difference. You can see the cafe's resources, which is good; it must be like that, in truth. I think it's good, not very expensive, and also well located and accessible. For my part, go there with confidence and a little caution; it remains friendly nonetheless, and all types of people, and a large Chinese community in the neighborhood, which is normal in Belleville. 11/07/2026: The staff were extremely haughty and rude. The woman informed me that a minimum purchase of €20 was required for credit card payments. I simply remarked quietly that I had never encountered this practice when buying a pack of cigarettes. She then replied, "You're not used to France," which was an inappropriate and completely out-of-place remark, especially since I was born in France. I absolutely do not recommend this establishment. This woman's attitude was provocative: she constantly sought conflict and continued the discussion when she could have simply responded professionally. Avoid at all costs...

08/04/2026: Beware of this scam!!! I placed an order on March 30th. My order was canceled after 40 minutes without any notification. I called, and I was verbally abused by a woman who spoke like a thug. My order wasn't delivered, and of course, the money was taken from my account. I requested a refund, which I never received. Unbelievable! I called, I sent emails... no response!!! Give me my money back... this is THEFT!! !

25/01/2026: I ordered two pizzas. I never received the delivery. I called 10 times... At one point, someone hung up on me. (January 25, 2026). Domino's has become a den of thieves with no respect for its customers.

07/06/2026: Huge disappointment...it was for Mother's Day... The welcome and table setting were fine. The aperitif...no toast with the pâté...awful... Impossible to tell if we actually had willow...everything was mixed together. The vegetables didn't match the menu...we weren't informed. The waiter's response: a typo???!!! The chocolate dessert: atrocious presentation...it's better presented in budget restaurants...Very poor quality bread...and let's not even talk about the wait...all the tables around us complained about the wait...Since we weren't asked if it was okay...and for good reason...I'm posting this message. This is no longer a gourmet restaurant!! Diverchy

01/06/2026: APPALLING! Not even a cafeteria would dare serve these dishes… retrograde presentation, mismatched tableware and "Arcopal"-style cutlery. The menu descriptions didn't match the "Mother's Day" special menu. The service was extremely slow (we arrived at 1:00 PM - the main course was only served after we complained because the first course had been sent back to the kitchen and wasn't served until after 5:00 PM). In short, a completely ruined family gathering.

22/07/2026: My waiter was friendly, the half-pint of beer was mediocre and poorly poured, and the price... unbeatable... €5

30/06/2026: €10 for two Perriers. End of joke.

02/08/2026: I'm used to Subway (which I love), but this was different because I came with my son for the first time (he's 4). We wanted to get the kids' pack, but it's only available with turkey or tuna. We asked if we could add plain chicken, even though it was an extra charge, but apparently that was impossible because "it doesn't exist." So the chicken was right there in front, but we couldn't put it in the sandwich... I was very surprised to encounter this invisible barrier. He didn't get his kids' meal, but instead a Sub15, which was much more expensive, didn't have applesauce or any extras, and was less suitable for children because it was bigger (half of it ended up in the bin). Unfortunately, after reading the reviews, I realize there's no attempt at self-reflection on the part of the owner. I would add that the sign proudly displayed regarding the hygiene rating expired on January 1, 2026 (issued on January 1, 2025 and valid for 1 year).

14/07/2026: Disgusting food, unpleasant service, cockroaches in the kitchen, dirty table, overpriced. The only positive point was the drink, which was excellent.

23/07/2026: Just avoid this place at all costs!! I ate a pan bagnat with tuna cream, one slice of tomato, and two pieces of egg, with salad as an option, and to top it all off, it was frozen!!! As a local, I'm not about to recommend you!! I should have checked the reviews... Shame on you!

23/07/2026: First of all, I want to explain my 1/5 rating because I couldn't figure out how to give it 0/5 🤣 If you're having a great morning on Peyrefite beach, whatever you do, don't eat here because it could ruin everything! The owner isn't very friendly, the pan bagnat was definitely frozen, no salad, just inedible. I even had to pay 20 cents for my little packet of ketchup 🤣. In conclusion, I should have checked the other reviews beforehand and gone to the little restaurant next door, which has good reviews 😉

30/07/2026: Excellent experience at La Fratrie! The dishes were delicious, generous, and perfectly prepared. The service was top-notch. 18/06/2026: A very disappointing experience on April 18, 2026, around 2:00 PM. There were three of us. My friends ordered coffees, but I don't usually order drinks in the afternoon, so I only asked for a glass of water, which the waitress offered. A man who introduced himself as Moustapha intervened very aggressively, shouting that we weren't allowed to sit down or drink water without ordering anything. He slammed the glass against the table, insulted us, and threatened us, telling us not to come back. The atmosphere was intimidating, with a complete lack of respect. We decided to leave because we felt pressured. I do not recommend this place if you are looking for a calm and respectful environment.

17/07/2026: First and last time. We simply asked for water in a reusable bottle. This woman found it extremely inconvenient. But charging us 16 euros for 6 bottles of syrup didn't bother her at all. Madam, next time I'll shop elsewhere.

04/06/2026: Refusing access to the toilets to a woman who is 8 months pregnant, knowing that the toilets at Auchan are all out of order, is a truly regrettable attitude and does not make one want to eat in this restaurant!

08/07/2026: Forget the old reviews: the establishment has changed hands! Two passionate young entrepreneurs are now at the helm and deserve to be judged on their work. A promising start that looks very promising. Best of luck to them!

02/05/2026: A terrible experience. I arrived after 7 pm and was greeted by a manager who was half-drunk, along with other inebriated regulars with menacing looks. Room 9 was a 1960s-era maid's room that reeked of stale ashtrays. The sliding curtain was broken and wouldn't close completely. The tap was broken. But the worst part was the awful, incredibly uncomfortable, rock-hard bedding—you wouldn't even find it in a prison cell! It was like sleeping on a plank of wood. As for the service... No greeting or thank you at reception or at breakfast. I even had to ask for my change after paying. Even at a low price, this kind of room shouldn't be rented, especially if the owner is unfriendly and incompetent. Avoid at all costs.
