08/05/2026: Beware! We stopped for a drink after a pleasant stroll around the port. I ordered an Orangina and a strawberry juice, and when I took out a €10 note, he said, "Well, that'll be €10." Surprised, I looked at the price list and saw it was €4 and €4! I called him over, and he said those were last year's prices that he'd raised. No receipt. We quickly finished our drinks and decided to leave. This place is a law untoward and this person is extremely unpleasant. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

16/04/2026: Avoid this bar! Prices are outrageous, 10 euros for a pint? I've never seen anything like it in a betting shop.

19/07/2026: I feel really sorry for this guy who's standing by the door; firstly, he's only complaining that one of us wore sandals and he's telling us we're not accompanied. He should just tell us what he wants??? And he's being insolent with his behavior.

25/07/2026: Second visit, second refusal of entry, even though we were perfectly dressed and presentable. My girlfriend was simply wearing flat sandals because she can't wear heels after surgery, which we explained at the entrance. A few minutes later, however, we saw someone walk in wearing flip-flops. Very disappointed by this lack of consistency and understanding, especially for an establishment with this reputation!

26/10/2025: Avoid at all costs!!!! Catastrophic service, portions far too small! Over 45 minutes just for the appetizers! Rubbery mussels, definitely frozen...

28/08/2025: No comment on the food since we weren't served! We sat on the terrace and then had to wait 20 minutes for the menus! I went inside to ask for them, thinking I could help, but I was treated very rudely and we never received them, even though she said she would bring them to us. It was 9:15 pm, there were only three tables, and I think she simply didn't want to work any harder, since there were seven of us plus a baby. Luckily, we received better service at the ice cream parlors next door.

29/05/2026: My group of four were the only people in the restaurant, red flag! I left my jacket and purse beside the kitchen entrance, where our table was. My purse and brand-new French designer jacket were left in the restaurant. My purse had 300 Euros and credit cards. My identification. Except for my passport I went back 20 minutes later and was told to call the police. There was no one else present besides the proprietor. I had an AirTag in my bag. It was shut off immediately! Don't eat or drink there! Don't go there

17/05/2026: Avoid this restaurant! The salmon pasta was tasteless, and the Gruyère cheese looked like it was from 2002. Even the Moresque was a disaster. The waitress was very nice, but the fries were slightly spilled on the table when we were served; they barely even tried to put them back on the plate in front of us. Good luck if you decide to eat here.

11/06/2026: The entrance is so awful you don't even want to go in. The security guard acts like a child. There's no way a business like this gets more than 4 stars if it hires employees at random.

06/03/2026: I give this place five stars only because of the barman in the black sweater. He made our day! We were glad he was talking with us in english so well. Not all places in Paris have staff that speak English.

02/07/2026: The manager this afternoon was awful to his staff and, by extension, unbearable to me, a customer. I ordered a glass of Côtes de Provence. The young waiter looked at it and asked him to confirm if it was indeed a Côtes de Provence. He snatched the bottle from my hand and poured two glasses. I told him I only ordered one since my friend wanted a coffee. He threw away the second glass. I asked him why he got so angry when I had simply asked a question. He replied, "I'm not talking to you." And why am I a customer? No way.

29/06/2026: Disastrous service. The tobacconist is grumpy 365 days a year: no hello, no please, no thank you, no goodbye. He simply announces the amount in the most unpleasant tone. Not to mention the €20 minimum for card payments, which is now bordering on dishonest. Furthermore, your pseudo-legal notice on this matter demonstrates not only your lack of customer service but, above all, your ignorance of the law. An answer from a forum is in no way a legal standard, especially one from 2020. If you can't have a welcoming notice, at least have a professional one.

06/06/2026: ⭐☆☆☆☆ We were very disappointed with our visit to this pastry shop. We ordered two teas and two individual pastries for approximately €30. At that price, we expected a flawless experience. Our first surprise was with the strawberry cake: the plastic ring holding the pastry was extremely difficult to remove. Even with two people, we struggled to remove it without risking damaging the cake. This is neither practical nor pleasant when eating in. Regarding the tea service, we noticed that the teapot was not clean. There were visible marks on the rim, and my cup even had crumbs resembling croissant residue. This kind of detail leaves a very bad impression, especially in an establishment that aims to be upscale. Finally, the pastries were decent but not exceptional. Considering the perceived quality and the service we received, we were not convinced by the value for money. It's a shame, because we chose this place expecting a wonderful pastry experience. We hope these comments will help improve the quality of service and attention to detail.

17/05/2026: How sad to see that this beautiful Dupont establishment (successor to Etienvre), a Dives-sur-Mer institution where it all began, has become a pastry shop that has lost its quality and class. I know what I'm talking about; I'm from Dives-sur-Mer. It's heartbreaking.

09/05/2026: I've rarely seen such a low level of incompetence. Upon arrival, there was no greeting. Given the frosty reception, we ordered four paninis and two bags of chips, already regretting stopping there. €30 later, four cold paninis, the cheese not even melted, we couldn't eat them. Catastrophic. I doubt my review will do any good considering the number of negative reviews before.

07/05/2026: Terrible service, nothing left to eat by 1 p.m., and the only thing offered was a cold, tasteless panini. In short, good at nothing, terrible at everything.

31/07/2026: Would not let us move a chair so my mother could watch the caldron across the street. Only a single table in the entire restaurant was occupied and yet would not let us do it. They say it’s to maintain the atmosphere yet there’s a screaming roller coaster across the street. Don’t go here.

13/06/2026: The service on the terrace was terrible. The service was catastrophic, and the staff's friendliness needs improvement—they were a bit selfish and rushed. And the cocktails! Don't even get me started. It's a disgrace to offer such bad cocktails! They shouldn't even have them on the menu if that's what they're going to serve. Lunch was a disaster—very cold, and the salmon with rice was served with just water. The salmon and rice dish was watery and truly disgusting, and the salmon was overcooked and unappetizing. The entire service, including the meals, needs to be reviewed. The potatoes were undercooked, and there was a lack of sauce and spices. It had no flavor. Etc., etc. Never again.

03/05/2026: Avoid at all costs! Firstly, their cleaning product stinks up the whole neighborhood, and secondly, the quality of the products is deplorable. Everything is overpriced, and the staff is very unpleasant. There are much better options just a few meters away.

03/05/2026: This bakery is truly the worst in Boulogne. This morning I decided to give it one last chance (since Alexis is closed on Sundays), and the éclair was absolutely disgusting: the choux pastry was as hard as a rock, and the inside was soggy as if it had been defrosted. The staff was extremely unpleasant, and don't even get me started on the awful smell of chemicals they use for cleaning, which makes the street stink. You'd be better off walking an extra minute to Alexis, where the staff is lovely, the prices are reasonable, and the products are delicious.
