01/08/2026: I had the baked Camembert, it was excellent. A beautiful plate with salad, tomato, country ham, potatoes, and the Camembert was superb. The waitress and owner is lovely and very friendly. The chef is very welcoming and pleasant. I highly recommend it. The place is peaceful. Thank you to them.

06/09/2026: A very good butcher shop by day, many nice concerts and shows in the evening, in the courtyard when the weather is good.

14/08/2026: The outdoor café was closed, with no sign on the door (not a single mention on social media). We drove 450km only to find out after seeing it on TF1 news. Not cool at all. We're very disappointed.

28/09/2026: We held our daughter's christening at L'Amphitryon. The meal was a hit with all our guests, the service was impeccable, the menu was adapted for the pregnant women present, and the children's menu was also a success. We were also able to have a tiered cake delivered from a bakery in Chartres without any problems. I highly recommend it and wouldn't hesitate to hold future family events there.

22/09/2026: A warm and welcoming restaurant, a true neighborhood bistro with many regulars, friendly service, and thoughtful touches. The chef trained in renowned Michelin-starred establishments, and it shows: a great deal of work goes into the dishes, with gourmet recipes and magnificent seasonal produce, perfectly respected, such as the venison gravlax with beets, the stuffed cabbage with its concentrated jus, the perfectly seared sweetbreads, or the magnificent hare à la royale.

18/09/2026: I'm rather picky about food quality, but I found this restaurant particularly impressive. Firstly, of course, the cuisine is creative, with a well-balanced mix of flavors. The service is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is quite calm, which I consider important. A restaurant I highly recommend.

28/08/2026: This is a wonderful address in Paris: a warm welcome, a varied menu featuring fresh market produce, and dishes accompanied by perfectly cooked vegetables. A lovely wine list 🍷 The atmosphere is pleasant, with a generous and attentive owner at the helm and impeccable service. As for the chef, she makes good food just the way we like it. And when you come from the Basque Country, you appreciate the generosity and a little Osasuna rum 🥂. Will I go back? Yes, very soon!

16/09/2026: Back at Calix to try the new menu, what a joy to rediscover autumnal and indulgent flavors at the start of the season! The mushroom velouté was light and perfectly seasoned to bring out its flavors. For the pumpkin gnocchi, I really appreciated the different textures and the Parmesan cream, which added a touch of creaminess and a smooth, rounded flavor to the palate. To finish, with the chocolate-gianduja fondant, I was pleasantly surprised by the whipped cream infused with bergamot liqueur, which added a touch of freshness to the rich chocolate cake. I received a very warm welcome and excellent advice this evening at Calix; it's always a pleasure to return.

25/09/2026: Warm atmosphere, the owner, waitress, and waiter were super friendly! We had scallops on a bed of leek fondue, it was delicious. The wine was excellent, and they served little appetizers... a very pleasant evening

24/09/2026: The young waiter's reprimand in front of us could have been handled in the back room. We're not here to witness conflicts. And then there was his lack of empathy for my allergies. Sorry, it's even harder not being able to eat anything. This was my second visit to this restaurant, and it was still a pleasant experience. The setting is contemporary, bright, and very inviting. The cuisine showcases Alsatian traditions, notably with an excellent vol-au-vent served with spaetzle. The non-alcoholic "Purple" mocktail is subtle in flavor but enjoyable. I also appreciated the small appetizers offered with the aperitif—simple but very tasty. If you're a fan of offal, take advantage of your visit to try the veal kidneys in Pinot Noir with spaetzle. I found them excellent, with a flavor reminiscent of liver. To finish, the Mont Blanc ice cream sundae with chestnut cream was excellent and a perfect ending to the meal. 26/06/2026: We enjoyed a beautiful meal at L’Oustalet in the heart of Gigondas. Amazing food sourced from this very beautiful area. And perfect wine matching by the sommelier. We enjoyed a warm welcome from the friendly and attentive wait staff and highly recommend this lovely restaurant if you are in the area.

19/06/2026: This is a delightful restaurant and it was our 3rd visit over the last few years. The setting whether inside or out is beautiful and relaxing. The food itself is superb and worthy of the awards it has. We had the 5 course tasting and were very happy with everything it included. Many highlights but the fish and sweetbread courses were superb. The wine list is fantastic but on this occasion we went for the pairing. This was excellent value at €90 for 5 wines, including a couple of CdP’s. Each one of them was brilliantly paired and the sommelier happy to talk through his thinking around the choices. Service friendly and relaxed. All in all a top evening.

20/09/2026: In the heart of a magnificent Vosges forest, we discovered a charming Alsatian inn, well worth a reservation. The atmosphere is welcoming and the decor is tasteful. The dishes are cooked and presented with care. We particularly enjoyed the meats accompanied by seasonal vegetables and fries. The plum tart is excellent, and for those with a sweet tooth, I highly recommend the profiteroles; the chocolate topping is worth the trip alone. A large terrace allows you to dine al fresco, with a view of the Alsace plain. Finally, a restaurant that makes you want to return!
