08/07/2026: A truly wonderful French restaurant. The set lunch menu (starter, main course, dessert) offers one of the best value-for-money ratios in the neighborhood, with very generous portions. The menu showcases excellent ingredients and offers a wide selection. Special mention goes to the seven-hour lamb, but I loved everything: the Royans ravioli with porcini cream sauce and the Pimme crumble with a scoop of ice cream. Everything is carefully prepared, flavorful, and tastefully done. The service is efficient, and the location, just steps from the Luxembourg Gardens, makes it an excellent choice for lunch. A little noisy, but not a problem for me.

05/07/2026: Excellent restaurant! The food is delicious, flavorful, and quite original! At €35, it's unbeatable value for money in Paris. The staff is excellent. The only downside is that it's a bit cramped, but this is understandable given the price. Furthermore, despite the small size, you can easily hear each other.

19/07/2026: The food was excellent and the service also. The atmosphere was so nice in this cozy place and we really felt welcome there. We ordered the leg of lamb and the escalope de veau Milanaise which both were terrific. We highly recommend this place.

05/07/2026: We have never been disappointed by La Taverne de Saint-Pierre-du-Mont, where, on each of our visits, we are warmly welcomed in a lovely, modern, and comfortable setting, and where the choice of dishes is extensive. We highly recommend the sauerkraut, of course, the duck breasts with their sauces, and of course, the must-try floating island for dessert. Don't hesitate to pay them a visit!

23/07/2026: The warm oysters were magnificent! The cod was incredibly delicate! The Pavlova was so good, even if you're full, it went down a treat! The service was very pleasant. Everything is homemade, which takes a little time, but it's well worth it! Thank you for this lovely experience.

23/05/2026: It was so good! I ate THE BURGER, it was just as good as ever, and the all-chocolate dessert was amazing. The only problem I had was that it was so good I forgot to take pictures. It's perfect for birthdays. P.S. It's the best place in Saint-Étienne.

30/06/2026: Having worked there for 11 years, leaving in 2000, I returned to a familiar place where I met my husband, who was a truck driver, and where we got married. During my visit, the place was still as welcoming as ever, and the food was still excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. I wish them continued success and a long journey ahead. 18/07/2026: We had a very enjoyable dinner at Pradel Bastille. The menu offers good value, with several options: €19.90 for a main course, €27 for a main plus either an appetizer or dessert, or €34 for a three-course meal. We started with the French onion soup, which had excellent flavor, although it could have been served a little hotter. I had the baked Brie salad, which was good but not particularly memorable. For the main course, I chose the flank steak with shallot sauce and crispy French fries. The steak was nicely cooked, fairly tender, and the shallot sauce was excellent. The fries were crispy and delicious. My wife had the duck with green beans, and it was also excellent with a flavorful sauce. For dessert, we shared two scoops of ice cream (hazelnut and pear), and both flavors were delicious. We also enjoyed a large blonde beer. Our total came to about €73 for two people, which we felt was very reasonable for the quality and quantity of the meal. Overall, this is a very good restaurant with friendly service and solid French cuisine. While we had a couple of favorite restaurants in Paris that we’d probably revisit first, we’d certainly be happy to dine here again if we were in the area.

17/07/2026: The best gourmet lunch formule in Paris? Well, it's certainly the best I've found! From the exceptional gaspacho entre, to the extraordinary beef shoulder (in a complex and delicious sauce) to the world class tiramisu - this is a fabulous meal! There were three lunch formules to choose from (see photos) and the price is remarkably reasonable : 14/17/20 euros for main / main + 1 / main + entre + desert.
