31/01/2026: It pays to arrive early. By 1pm the buffet starter was virtually all gone. Attentive staff.

28/12/2025: On the recommendation of one of our campers, four of us dined here. We had a delicious meal. One of the guests was vegetarian, and they even catered to that. This restaurant, located opposite Confolens train station, looks nice from the outside. When you enter, you're a bit startled (as a Dutch person) by the fluorescent lighting, but you can sit comfortably in the back. The food is really worth it, especially for the price! 01/02/2026: A delightful restaurant discovered by chance during a stroll through the Sunday flea market in Valbonne. First of all, the warm welcome, the service, the smiles, and the friendliness make you feel instantly at ease. Then, the food is delicious; the homemade dishes are carefully prepared and flavorful. It's a shame the restaurant is a bit small, but the service is efficient, so it's not a big deal. We'll definitely try the shaded terrace in the summer 😉 A huge thank you to our lovely waitress who deserves a 10/10 all on her own 😇 And we hope to see you again very soon.

04/01/2026: Excellent food with a wide variety of dishes, and the service was equally good. We ordered, and the food arrived very quickly, much to our surprise. The atmosphere is friendly, with servers who are there to help.

12/10/2025: A must-see during my motorcycle trips in neighboring France, what more can I say than... Friendly staff and excellent food, like the magnificent rack of lamb cooked to perfection, an exquisite wild garlic sauce, roasted squash, and delicious fries. The little blueberry tiramisu is a delight for the taste buds. I highly recommend the daily specials.

09/10/2025: I didn't try the food but I stopped for a beer on the way down from Lake Peyre. The staff are very friendly and attentive, making sure we don't miss anything!

21/02/2026: Very happy with the new manager and the quality of the food… The welcome was excellent, the regional products top-notch. We enjoyed an authentic and typical raclette, a very pleasant time with the family. The staff were fantastic and attentive. I highly recommend trying the regional specialties. You won't be disappointed.

06/12/2025: An enchanting place!!! We came for my daughter's birthday with family and friends. We were all delighted; by the venue, the activities, the meal, and the staff. The food was delicious, and the price was reasonable. The staff, for their part, were wonderful: kind, down-to-earth, and they made us feel right at home. Thank you for this lovely time.

24/11/2025: A lovely restaurant for a meal by the fireplace, the food was very much appreciated by all of us, and the real bonus is that the children can play while the parents finish eating. The short motorcycle or quad bike ride makes the children happy! We'll come back from time to time to enjoy it as a family.

27/02/2026: Friendly and smiling staff 😃 Good breakfast, but it's a shame it was bottled orange juice. The shower interior wasn't very clean.

05/02/2026: Good service and a lovely place. For that alone, I'm giving it a good rating. But be aware that some dishes, like foie gras or salmon, aren't eligible for The Fork reservations. This is a problem since the website only mentions a discount on menu items... a shame, as is the overall quality of the food, which was nothing special, except for the tiramisu, which I absolutely loved.

29/01/2026: A nice little place, with a slightly unusual decor featuring a fountain. The service was a bit slow, but the dishes were very well prepared. At least the shoulder of lamb was. Not really suitable for a business lunch. But I highly recommend it for those lucky enough to go there as a couple.

25/02/2026: Lunch menu at €19.90: starter/main course/dessert. Homemade cuisine using fresh ingredients. Classic Parisian bistro fare. Fast service.

17/02/2026: The brunch was good, with plenty of choice, and the price was reasonable. However, the place is very crowded on Sunday mornings, which significantly impacted our experience: the space is small, especially upstairs, the tables are close together, and there's one large communal table, which eliminates any sense of privacy. The waitresses seemed overwhelmed, and with one exception, they weren't very friendly, and there were several order mistakes. But I imagine the atmosphere is much more pleasant when it's less busy.

15/02/2026: A lovely little brunch for Valentine's Day. Unbeatable value for money. The restaurant is very charming and the service impeccable. A truly generous brunch, no regrets whatsoever, we'll definitely be back.
