05/09/2024: I love truffles and don't have many opportunities to enjoy them in the USA, so when I saw this restaurant on my navigation app, I had to try it. We are so happy we did! We weren't able to make it for dinner but lunch was a good deal, no reservations needed and so delicious! For 19 Euro there were two specials of the day: a pasta dish which was gnocchi with truffles , and a brouillade, a delicious French dish of scrambled eggs, cream, and of course, truffles! An English menu is available online and in the restaurant. Our kind waiter was patient with our poor French and he spoke a bit of English so we managed just fine. The restaurant is tucked into a cute neighborhood with good shopping and within walking distance to the Eiffel Tower, Musee D'Orsay & Les Invalides. The ambiance within the restaurant was charming and cozy, and there are also sidewalk tables available. Bring home some truffle products from the great selection they have so you can remember your delicious meal in this lovely little Parisian restaurant!

12/12/2024: Magnificent discovery! Simple menu (which is a good sign!) and in fact EVERYTHING is made on site, even the beer and lemonade (cola is a marvel)! Delicious, hearty with lots of kindness and smiles! Go there without hesitation between two visits to the museum (it's right opposite!)

28/11/2024: This is the 3rd time I've come in 18 months, it's always perfect. The setting is pleasant, the service perfect even when the chef is alone sometimes during the week, he manages to manage everything and have a pleasant word. The wine is of choice. The delicious dishes, I always take the casserole of ravioli au gratin, they are the best I know. And the trilogy of crème brûlées is a marvel. And reasonable prices.

24/11/2024: Le Vol au Vent se vit et ne se décrit pas même si nous sommes retournés avec plaisir chez Mémé 45 ans en arrière : cuisine généreuse et savoureuse sans chichis et surtout envie de saucer tous les plats sans être jugés. Nous avons tout apprécié du ragoût de crêtes de coq au ris de veau à la truffe sans oublier les quenelles sous toutes ses formes. La carte des vins est superbe pour tous les budgets. Nous attendions ce moment avec impatience, nous n’avons pas été déçus. Merci à Frédéric et Carole ainsi qu’à l’ ensemble du personnel. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir pour ce moment de partage et de nostalgie.

23/11/2024: Nous venons de vivre un moment exceptionnel qui mêle chaleur tradition mets et cuisine d exception ... Hé oui 4 a 5 fois par an, le chef Fred Ménager prépare le vol au vent, que dis je, un menu d une richesse et d une subtilité progressive et gustative ... Je ne vais pas tout dévoiler, un seul conseil, rêver entre amis et vous savourerez un vrai vol au vent dans la tradition On adore la ferme de la Ruchotte, son équipe, ses propriétaires et son chef C est un endroit rare et vrai, chaleureux et agréable

02/11/2024: We had dinner at the Fichon restaurant during our visit to Paris, and it was an unforgettable experience. The menu offers a variety of fish-based dishes, all delicious and with attention to the smallest details. Without a doubt, the best restaurant we tried during our stay! Furthermore, the owner, an expert winemaker, guided us in choosing the perfect wine to accompany each course. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a special dinner in Paris

01/09/2024: Très bonne adresse à Plouigneau. Nous nous y sommes arrêtés pour un repas en famille arrivant de Paris et n’avons pas été déçus. L’accueil de l’équipe était chaleureuse et les plats étaient excellents.

17/11/2024: Discovery of the relay through word of mouth A magnificent place, with a pleasant room, tastefully decorated and offering a warm atmosphere. As for the meal, we were disappointed with the lack of flavors. The mushroom crust lacked any sauce or juice: the mushrooms seemed to have simply been pan-fried to be disgorged, then placed on a slice of bread. Creamed chicken with vin jaune sauce had the same problem: the wine hadn't had time to cook, leaving the sauce too runny. What a shame! However, the crayfish gratin was delicious and tasty, a real treat. A big positive point for the wine: it was perfect, especially the straw wine, which was a very nice discovery.

13/11/2024: We discovered this charming establishment. The decoration is sober and elegant. The dishes are delicious, refined and cooked with fresh produce (which is becoming increasingly rare), the service is impeccable. Everything was perfect, we will come back without hesitation.

27/09/2024: Excellent restaurant, very good value for money, difficult to do better, especially in Paris. The service is very pleasant and fast. A table that I recommend. The menu changes every day with meat and fish.

14/09/2024: Well a little confused and totally unimpressed; I was really looking forward to visiting this restaurant on my trip to Carcassonne. We walked in at 19.30 on a Saturday night and asked for a table for three. The guy asked if I had a reservation and I said no; he then said reservations only and the restaurant was empty apart from one table of four….. So I’m totally confused and rather upset as it made no sense; the only thing I good think of is that they obviously don’t want tourists and it’s a place for the locals - shame on you Le Cathare it’s put a sour taste in my mouth now for the rest of my trip

21/08/2024: La nourriture est régionale et le dessert est fait maison. Les propriétaires servent personnellement. L'ambiance est très familiale et agréable. La nouvelle terrasse pour s'asseoir à l'extérieur a amélioré le restaurant. Un très bon rapport qualité-prix.
