31/08/2026: I had the Marseilles menu for 29 euros, and it was excellent. A glass of pastis with bottarga toasts, panisse toasts, fried calamari with garlic and parsley, cooked to perfection, and ice cream. The waiters were friendly. I highly recommend it.

28/09/2026: We went to this wonderful place for lunch yesterday. The place is very intimate and welcoming, the owner is very kind, and the food was exceptionally good. We had delicious onion soup, cabbage and beef rolls, and breaded Camembert. We'll be back on our next trip ❤️

12/09/2026: This is truly a great restaurant, and I'm really saddened to learn that it's closing. And yes, it's not for lack of quality in the food, the preparation (it's very good), or the service. It's our consumption habits that are to blame. We prefer chain restaurants in shopping centers because parking is easier, access is easier, etc. We completely disparage these downtown restaurants, which are real gems, and they're closing one after another. Yet, with just a little effort, we can support an economy of genuinely passionate and dedicated restaurateurs. Best of luck, Alex, for the future.

02/07/2026: From the moment we came in, we could feel welcomed. Staff was super friendly and respectful. We had the lobster menu. From the beginning to the end, it was pure magic. I felt as if I was in a chef cooking contest, where every dish was meant to impress. The presentation, the texture, taste, everything was amazing. Thank you!

14/09/2026: Good evening, I came in November 2025. Everything was perfect. So I booked again for September 13th. What a disappointment! There was a mistake with the starter; I was served a poached egg on mashed potatoes. Very ordinary. It should have been a salmon terrine. We didn't want to cancel because it was for 17 people. I was embarrassed in front of my guests. The veal rump was perfect. Excellent. However, the profiteroles were a disaster. The ice cream was tasteless, very white; store-bought ice cream is much better than what was offered, and it was half melted. The Chantilly cream was very disappointing, lacking body, whereas in November 2025 it was delicious! Have you changed chefs? In short, a meal that didn't live up to expectations. What a shame. I was upset for my guests.

The service was top-notch, and the dishes we tasted were excellent 👍 We made a reservation online late at night and received confirmation the very next morning. It was flawless from start to finish. 31/08/2026: Well, after a great day on the motorbike with a friend, he unfortunately broke down. After waiting unnecessarily for help for 3.5 hours—thanks to the ANWB😒—we went out for dinner! Thanks to the Welshman there, we put this unpleasant experience aside. Persuaded by him to order the varied grill with a delicious glass of beer, and an Irish coffee afterwards, it lifted our cheerful spirits again! Thanks for the fun and good humor and the tasty food!🥳👍🏻💥

26/09/2026: A real find. The owner does everything, from preparation to service. And he does it very well. The food is made with fresh, well-prepared ingredients. At €26 for the full menu, what more could you ask for?

07/09/2026: This is what a wonderful summer evening in Provence can look like: first, a stroll through the incredibly romantic town center of Goult, then a three-course dinner with regional wine at La Bartavelle, ideally al fresco in the pedestrian alley in front of the restaurant – sunset included. The food is first-class and a feast for the eyes, the service friendly and attentive. And the prices? Well, they are reasonable for what you get – and that was above average. A reservation is absolutely essential, unless you enjoy taking a chance and don't mind potentially going hungry.

12/08/2026: We discovered this lovely and charming restaurant on a sweltering evening, experiencing all the hardships that entails for professionals! Despite these conditions, every dish served was impeccable, with a little something extra in the light, simply delicious sauces... too often overlooked in favor of bland emulsions. This is an establishment we will gladly return to at a more pleasant time of year!

28/09/2026: Nestled in the small village of Authon, this guesthouse has everything to please... Peace and quiet, nature, very friendly hosts, and excellent cooks. The rooms and dormitory are very comfortable, with superb bedding. Incredible hikes are also nearby. We highly recommend this little haven of peace. We'll be back.
