The cuisine is gastronomic, refined, generous, and perfectly executed, with the rare pleasure of discovering a unique menu written on a chalkboard that showcases ingredients prepared with precision and creativity. Everything is top-notch: the service is quick, efficient, and attentive without being intrusive; the decor and ambiance are elegant and welcoming, and you immediately feel at ease. You sense a genuine commitment, a sincere passion for the craft, and a consistency that is invaluable these days. And perhaps the most surprising thing is the value for money, which is particularly reasonable considering the quality of the food and the overall experience. A refined, authentic, and intimate restaurant… that truly deserves to be better known. A wonderful place you simply want to return to.

31/08/2025: Hello, Five years ago, during COVID, we had to find an alternative for our weekend in the Ardennes. There was a lockdown, and we couldn't return to the Paris region. We found this magnificent place as a last resort, and frankly, we weren't disappointed. A very warm welcome and a magnificent and pleasant setting, not to mention the service and the hospitality of the staff. And the restaurant was very good. Highly recommended. We plan to come back for a weekend. Have a good Sunday!

07/07/2025: I know this authentic bistro seems very busy at the end of the day. Through an acquaintance, I had made a reservation. So the only problem, probably due to the lack of space in the bar and dining room, is the noise from the bar's patrons echoing into the table-service dining area, especially when people are leaning against the bar in part of the small corridor leading to the restaurant. It's a shame there isn't a wine list, but probably because of the large number of bottles you can consume with your eyes. But a lovely evening.

08/03/2026: Absolutely loved lunch at La Boissonnerie. The wine selection was excellent and the staff were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. We were able to walk in for lunch without a reservation. One of my favorite moments was watching the staff walk across the street to the focacceria to pick up warm, fresh bread. I started with a soup that was incredibly creamy and flavorful — the kind of dish that feels comforting but still refined. For my main, I had the chicken dish, and the purée served with it was unbelievably silky.
