09/02/2026: A superb stay at this hotel. The establishment and the staff are very pleasant, attentive, and truly dedicated to their guests. The breakfast is excellent, featuring delicious waffles and specialty breads. The terrace must be particularly lovely in good weather, although it was inaccessible during our stay due to the weather. The location is ideal: right in the center yet peaceful. Paid parking is available nearby, which is very convenient. Special mention goes to the room being available until noon on the day of departure—a real bonus. The rooms might be a little basic for a 4-star establishment, but they are clean, comfortable, and perfectly equipped. I highly recommend this hotel.

01/02/2026: We've been coming here regularly for so long to enjoy their excellent couscous. I think it even dates back to when they opened. The welcome is always warm. And it's always excellent and very generous portions. The lamb pieces are superb, I highly recommend it! We even got takeout on Sunday, and it was perfect too. See you next time!

The welcome was warm, the service was quick, the food was good, the waitress was very pleasant, and the decor was original too. I highly recommend this establishment, and if you're staying at Porte d'Orléans, go there – you won't be disappointed!

16/02/2026: A huge congratulations to La Bérénice restaurant! Their Angus beef with morel sauce truly awakened all my taste buds: remarkably tender meat, enhanced by a delicate and perfectly spiced sauce. Kudos to the entire team for their efficiency, and also to the bartender for his rum and spice aperitif cocktail, full of character and mystery. And to conclude, the "Signature" dessert lives up to its name perfectly—a refined creation that brings the meal to a beautiful close.

22/02/2026: The service from the charming Ludivine was excellent. We stuffed ourselves with the all-you-can-eat flammekueches, but we didn't overdo it. It's a chain, sure, but the flammekueches are good and fresh. A nice selection of different kinds. The restaurant was packed, which, in my opinion, is a sign of quality.

12/10/2025: Look no further! This is the best cannelé seller in Bordeaux 🏆 Different sizes, very competitive prices, handcrafted and made on site. And what about the aromas that attract visitors from far away!!! Whether you prefer your cannelés soft or firm, they are, in any case, soft on the inside and crispy on the outside, and always with that caramelized crunch on top 🤭 My mouth is watering just thinking about them 🎁🥹

15/02/2026: Very disappointed! Based on the good reviews online, my partner and I booked for Valentine's Day. We were quickly disillusioned: a one-hour wait for drinks, another hour for the starter, and then another hour for the main course. The butter I was served with the starter was a month past its expiration date. I asked for my steak to be cooked medium, but it arrived very rare. I didn't want to send it back to the kitchen to wait another hour. We didn't order dessert but paid the full price of the set menus (they offered a complimentary €5 drink). We are disgusted…
