14/04/2026: An exceptional place! I've been to La Marmite several times, both for business events and family meals, and it's been flawless every time. The food is simply delicious. The dishes are of high quality, and you can immediately tell the ingredients are fresh, which is ideal for entertaining clients or enjoying a family gathering. The value for money is also excellent for this level of service. The welcome is always very warm, and the team knows how to adapt to every occasion. Everything is perfect, from the food to the service. A big thank you to Guillaume, the manager, and his team for their hospitality, professionalism, and organizational skills. I wholeheartedly recommend it for all your events, and I will definitely be back!

11/04/2026: You can have lunch here. I mean, in France, the kitchen is open right in the middle of the day. I'm shocked. I mean, at 3 PM, you can just walk in and eat a hot meal. In France! The food itself is also excellent, the prices are reasonable. I recommend it!

We stopped in for lunch by chance while in Bayonne, and not only did we get a decent meal (in France, the kitchen is often closed after 2 PM), but we also had a fantastic meal! I really enjoyed it and definitely recommend it. The hake fillet with vegetables in garlic sauce was simply delicious!

19/04/2026: Fast service, a sunny terrace, quality furniture, carefully prepared and delicious cuisine, and best of all: the restaurant is open on Sundays! We always come back.

17/04/2026: Refined cuisine, elegant decor with a beautiful view of the Belledonne and Chartreuse mountains. I had paella and a soft-baked cookie; it was delicious. We had a wonderful time.

There was no waiting between courses; the gentleman who served us was single-handedly handling both the service and the kitchen. The portions were generous and catered for to everyone's preferences. And all this with a big smile! Thank you so much for this wonderful welcome and meal. I recommend this establishment 300%! And what's more, the gentleman is a photographer specializing in fine dining! 😉

26/04/2026: Disappointed with our experience. A rather noisy dining room. Starters with improbable combinations. Side dishes with fermented wild garlic... extremely strong garlic flavor!! You can't choose your dishes (unheard of!) And the à la carte prices are outrageous: €42 for a tiny medallion of pollack!
