08/05/2026: We were visiting Strasbourg from Canada. La Corde a Linge was recommended to us by a friend and it didn’t disappoint! We had a lovely table outside, good food, friendly service, in a great atmosphere. Highly recommend.

07/05/2026: A lovely restaurant in the heart of Petite France, and what a view! Great outdoor setting although if you don't like people smoking while you eat you will need to be strategic as to where you sit. The service was exceptional even though restaurant was super busy. Food was delicious. I expected based on location that food would be typical tourist offers (of which they had a small selection of burgers for those who must) but they had lots of traditional dishes on offer and they readily customised to suit my preferences. Very relaxed... staff will let you linger and enjoy your food and beverage at leisurely pace. Highly recommend!

02/05/2026: I visited this restaurant because it was near my hotel in Paris and had high ratings in online reviews. I made a reservation in advance through their website. Since I wasn't confident in my French, I wrote down the dishes I wanted to order in the request section when making the reservation: ① Green Salade ② French Veal Scallops (Standard Style) ③ Sweet Potato Mousse Thanks to this, I was seated very smoothly on the day of my visit and was able to enjoy my meal with peace of mind. All the dishes were delicious and the portions were generous. The dessert mousse, in particular, had a wonderful aroma and left a lasting impression. The service was smart, and the female server had a very pleasant demeanor, making for a very enjoyable experience.

11/05/2026: A very warm welcome. The young trainee waiter was very pleasant. The meal was flawless. Snails, foie gras, beef fillet, trout au bleu, vacherin, and gourmet coffee. A truly wonderful discovery. An address to remember.

29/05/2026: I did stop rating reviews for sometime because I realised that they stay for a long time on Google. During the time restaurants change, owners change, chef's change.... And the reviews are no quite relevant anymore. But today I decided to write again about this French restaurant where I had lunch, my favourite Anduette with a glass of 1664 beer. Everything was very good. French business people have their guests the next to me, which should be a recommendation for the place. The bill for what you see was 35 euro.

Honestly, I recommend this restaurant to anyone on a mid-range budget who wants to eat well. The decor is very well done: neither too busy nor too simple, just perfect. Everything is spotless, right down to the restrooms, which is a real plus. And the extra touch is really nice: getting your own bottle of wine from the bar. It adds a unique and friendly touch that makes all the difference! In the summer, the terrace perfectly complements the restaurant, and some evenings, live bands play, creating a really pleasant and convivial atmosphere. An address I recommend without hesitation!
