However, the lack of reservations creates stress for those hoping for a table, and customers waiting standing up, even upstairs, detract from the overall enjoyment of the dining experience.

22/02/2026: First experience, often recommended for the tarte flambée. Table of 7, a bit of a wait as the first seating was already full, but the receptionist did everything she could to find us a table as quickly as possible. We ordered tarte flambée as an appetizer. They were generous and delicious. Then I opted for a roast beef which was also very good. To finish, I had a chocolate mousse with bourbon vanilla cream. The service was quick despite the restaurant being full with 200 people. No complaints about the service or the quality of the food. Budget: 4 tarte flambée as an appetizer, the meal, dessert, drinks, and coffee: €48 per person.

02/03/2026: Absolutely fantastic! The dining room with its mountain view is magnificent. The rump steak was perfectly cooked, the homemade fries crispy, and the Bleu d'Auvergne sauce was divine. To finish, the chocolate fondant with whipped cream was heavenly. Warm and welcoming service. We'll definitely be back!

The quality and flavor are definitely there, and the portions are generous. Main courses start at €18—but unfortunately, it's a burger and fries, not very local. On the other hand, the desserts are too expensive: €6 (e.g., fromage blanc/cream/blueberry or fruit tart). We suggest: * The Truffade (a potato and cheese dish) €20 * Reservations are recommended, especially if you are a large group. Parking is 50m away, and to aid digestion, we recommend a visit to the Scenomusee Chez la Toinette et le Julien (also 50m away); a bit pricey but definitely worth the visit.
