19/12/2024: Wonderful in every way. Delicious, carefully prepared dishes, meticulously explained by the friendly and efficient waiting staff. Each dish was perfect and the flavours were well balanced. Despite being full for the lunch service, we didn’t have to wait for anything, and our waiter even noticed immediately when we needed more bread or water and brought it without being asked. This is how restaurants should be, such a pleasure!

18/12/2024: Une expérience incroyable, la nourriture était aussi bonne et raffinée que le personnel gentil et serviable. 27€ pour entrée, plat, dessert le midi avec cette qualité on se demande s'il n'y a pas un loup. Mais non, c'est simplement un des meilleurs restaurants de Bordeaux !

06/07/2025: I could have told you: "Go there with your eyes closed." But that wouldn't be enough to honor the work of Ivan Lavaux and his team. The chef shares his journey and his country throughout his dishes. And sometimes his story meets yours, and that's when we touch the sublime. And the products are excellent, the cooking is perfect, and the service, provided in part by the chef himself, is in tune. With very good value for money if you put it in relation to the work and know-how necessary to achieve this level of perfection. Otherwise, go there with your eyes closed.

02/07/2025: A colorful and welcoming place, nestled against Ambronay Abbey. A very warm welcome from the chef and server. The menu offers some wonderful discoveries, such as the particularly delicious carp ingot. The dishes are enhanced by a very well-chosen wine pairing, and offered at a reasonable price. A wonderful experience, one we will definitely repeat. A well-deserved Michelin star.

11/07/2025: Friendly welcome, decent food, albeit quite expensive, but thematic service based on forgetfulness: 15 minutes to place the order, 35 minutes to get the dish, and mistakes on the drinks. Could do better.

01/09/2024: Good morning, 08/27/2024, We enjoyed ourselves. The oysters and shrimps are very good and the fresh muscadet sur lie prestige is fruity and not too dry. It does not attack the stomach. As for the boss, he has a friendly contact with the tourist customers that we are.... In short, an address to remember 😉😎

26/08/2024: Location a bit basic and on the road, they don't have champagne by the glass. For these reasons I don't give 5 stars. For the rest the oysters are really excellent and the price is also excellent.

30/11/2024: Soirée agréable, cuisine maison, on s’est régalés. Cependant nous avons été un peu dérangés par plusieurs petites réflexions d’une des serveuses.

25/11/2024: A ne pas manquer ! Très bel accueil, endroit chaleureux, simple et sympathique. Formule à 32 euros, fait maison, nous nous sommes régalées avec une brandade de crabe, faux filet de taureau extra, agneau dans son jus réduit.... Serveuse à l'écoute et fort gentille, le patron avec une bonne gouaille et bravo au cuisinier ! A refaire, merci pour ce bon moment !!👍😃

16/11/2025: A wonderful discovery! We had a delightful culinary experience. The dishes were delicious, and the staff was very pleasant. A place to remember. It's a shame we don't live in Reims; it would have become our favorite restaurant.

23/09/2024: We are a couple visiting the area for the weekend, and witnessed impeccable service, beautifully presented dishes for a meal that was tasty to the taste buds and eyes, and a relaxed atmosphere. The portions are sufficiently nourishing and from the entrance to the back rooms via the toilets, the whole thing is elegant and clean, it's flawless!

20/09/2024: I can't say anything about the hotel aspect, just the restaurant. So I found the food tasty, even if it didn't quite live up to the price. Especially with the fish, I had the feeling that there wasn't enough crab served... but everything was still very tasty. The service was sometimes difficult to call, but once an order was placed, it was very quick and competent. Everyone was also very nice there.
