11/12/2025: My friend and I stopped by today around 2 pm to enjoy a pastry. The food was perfect, but the service was sorely lacking in politeness... Being called a thief out loud in front of a full restaurant, with the pretext that we hadn't paid, and having this claim, which turned out to be false, persisted is UNACCEPTABLE!! After you took the time to check (in short, to do your job), you didn't even have the courtesy to apologize.

08/09/2024: Nous avons très bien mangé, restaurant calme, accueil très charmant, j'adore le cadre style chalet! Le patron fait d'excellentes tartes flambées, et la pâtissière fait une forêt noire à tomber par terre!! Excellent restaurant!!!!!!!!!

29/08/2024: Une agréable surprise à tous points de vue. Le calme au-dessus de la vallée de Munnster. L'accueil, sympa, souriant, par le couple des propriétaires.La carte et les suggestions, mets et vins, varier maison pas trop, la cuisine évidemment, soignée par le fils et son épouse. Copieuse et de qualité. Nous nous sommes régalés autant avec la salade forestière que la succulente entrecôte de boeuf spaetzle et sauce aux girolles fraîches du secteur, ou encore la forêt noire. C'est beau, c'est bon, c'est familial. Cet établissement, pas idéalement situé sur le bord de la route menant à la Schlucht , mériterait de remporter l'attention qu'il mérite. Nous revendrons.

29/09/2024: This was our first time and we were quite disappointed. The food is good but nothing extraordinary and the service is extremely long. We were forgotten about ordering desserts. As for the so-called sparkling cocktail, it was flat and not carbonated, with very little taste. It's a shame because the atmosphere and decor are pleasant

05/12/2024: There is no trip to Saint Jean de Monts without a stop at swordfish. Always good homemade dishes, it's always a treat. Note the accuracy of cooking of the fish and an excellent semi-cooked homemade chocolate custard.

18/09/2024: 5/5 for the service, and 100 out of 10 for the Côte de Taureau (eat blue on the advice of the team whereas I usually eat medium rare) with its vanilla mash at the top. Wonderful discovery of this restaurant with a wonderful view, and a great team!

25/09/2024: Salmon gravlax with small cream and chives. Perfect seasoning, just lacks a little pep with the cream (lemon would be great) Veal head with gribiche sauce. Perfect seasoning. On the other hand, I would have appreciated a freshly ground pepper. Bravo to the kitchen
