10/08/2026: What a disappointment... As regulars at Michelin-starred restaurants, we had come to dine for a special occasion at this establishment, which is supposed to have elegant, courteous, and discreet staff, worthy of a four-star rating. To our surprise, one of the waitresses verbally attacked her colleague in front of us with great condescension, even though the latter had been very pleasant to us. She criticized our table, saying it would require her to vacuum (aren't waiters supposed to clean after service?! This reaction made us a little worried about hygiene...). We were left feeling very uncomfortable by this altercation and the atmosphere, which was more like a cheap pub. The table next to us felt the same way. According to our neighbors, who are regulars, this woman has a reputation for being very temperamental, rude, and always speaking very loudly. Despite the very good food (a point in favor of the cuisine), we will not be returning.

04/08/2026: La Basse Cour: The food is good... when it actually arrives Dinner at the hotel restaurant, La Basse Cour. Verdict in two parts: the food on one hand, the service on the other. The service, let's talk about it: it's a whole other story. Cold and rigid, a Lenten atmosphere. We arrive, are seated on the terrace at our request because it's pleasant on this summer afternoon, and we sit down. And we wait. Five minutes, then ten, then fifteen. Time seems to stand still. Other customers arrive after us, and presto, they're served. We watch the glasses and plates go by, amazed. We even checked in the reflection of the window: no, we weren't invisible. So we finally mention it; the wait was becoming unbearable. Result: we're politely told off. So we wait, stoic, while orders from our neighbors are being served right under our noses. It has to be said that only one server takes orders for the entire dining room and terrace. The team is clearly understaffed, and it shows. It's a shame, because the food is good, really. The dishes come out quickly, but not all at the same time. So we take turns nibbling, one person eating while another waits. Perhaps that's what the barnyard mentality is all about, after all. In short: after a long day at work, opt for Deliveroo. If you have the time, or you're with family, arm yourself with patience: it's still pretty good.

29/07/2026: A superb setting, very pleasant and competent waitresses, and a flawless meal. I'll definitely be back.

24/07/2026: We've been going to this restaurant since it opened. It was perfect for the first few years. Tonight, my husband and I went there. The bartender brought us our aperitifs: a Napoleon for me and a Bon Secours beer for my husband. He arrived with the glasses, and the beer spilled on the floor, splashing my handbag. He didn't apologize, just said, "It's fine, nothing's wrong." Then there was the very limited menu: one page for starters and main courses, one page for desserts, mainly ice cream with a €2 supplement. The waitress, a tall, dark brown-haired woman, took a chair to sit down while we made our dessert choices, and was exasperated by my husband's questions about his ice cream selection. And to top it all off, the waiter who served us the beer and brought us the bill didn't say a thank you, didn't say goodbye, and turned his back on us after taking a €101 credit card payment. Just a small voice in the restaurant greeted us. The welcome was terrible; with behavior like that, I don't give this restaurant, which used to have a good reputation, much longer a chance of survival.

29/07/2026: We had a lovely lunch that made us forget about the hot weather for a while. Everything was fresh and homemade, big praise to their special sauces! Very kind owner and stuff.

13/05/2026: Wow, what a wonderful discovery... the place, the welcome... And the carefully crafted menus that change with the seasons... A chef wearing his toque... an owner who knows how to share her passion: wine. Dishes bursting with flavor... Stop by O Délices des Papilles... I won't say any more. A pure delight.

22/07/2026: Dish of the day €10.50 and starter/main course €14. Nice restaurant, friendly welcome and very good food! A really good place where the food is delicious and generous. The decor in the restaurant is also nice, in a vintage style. Top-notch.

18/07/2026: It doesn't look like much from the outside, but don't hesitate to go in! Excellent value for money, and the service is incredibly pleasant! It was a real pleasure to have lunch here, finding it on the go at the last minute.

13/07/2026: I’ve been enough times to this bistro and the place is really unique. The waiters also generally do the best they can. I’m here today,a waiter that don’t have enough hands to serve everything, a piece de bûcher that is not possible to chew and swallow and when I told him he answered it is not my fault. I understand he was tired, so help him with more waiters. It is 2hours the lunch time and 3 the dinner time. If you put more tables you need more waiters and better quality of meat.

01/07/2026: A wonderful experience at Loulou in Metz! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the food is excellent and prepared with high-quality ingredients. A big thank you to the owner, who handled a minor cooking issue with great professionalism. Her excellent service and responsiveness truly made all the difference. It's lovely to see a team so attentive to customer satisfaction. We will definitely be back!

01/06/2026: What a wonderful restaurant 🤩 in such a charming village. We were four couples with classic cars, which we were able to park without any problems. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We had a lovely time; the owners and staff were very friendly and welcoming.

04/05/2026: Stayed here while we attended Anzac Day 2026 at Villers Bretonneux and Bullecourt. Service was friendly and helpful. The restaurant is a 5 star establishment with good prices for the quality and service. We are there both nights. Bon appétit !
