14/02/2026: We came for Valentine's Day and both the menu and the service were perfect! We look forward to returning to enjoy this friendly team and their delicious cuisine.

04/03/2026: Once again, we had a wonderful time. Excellent service for people with reduced mobility, very professional and friendly staff, and delicious food.

28/02/2026: We had chosen a table on the terrace for its pleasant location and were allowed to settle in comfortably a little while before service began. Shortly after service started, we were asked to leave that same table (we were told, "taking all your belongings!") and join the queue... with the obvious risk of not getting it back, as the line had already formed considerably. A confusing organization, unfriendly and condescending explanations: an experience we won't be repeating. Fortunately, right next door, other establishments know how to welcome and respect their customers. So, we had no regrets!

11/09/2025: An excellent restaurant along the river, perfect after a canoeing session, for example. The cuisine is succulent, with a delicious taste of the local terroir. The chestnut crème brûlée is a must 🤩

30/08/2025: An atmosphere and starters/main courses/desserts that exceeded expectations, a great time, a very pleasant view of the Doubs. I highly recommend it!!! (Always surprised even if we've come several times!)

08/02/2026: An excellent find! La Vie en Rose restaurant is a real gem. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming; you immediately feel at ease. The service is impeccable, professional, and attentive from beginning to end. Special mention goes to the spotless cleanliness, which demonstrates a great attention to detail. A charming little restaurant to keep close at hand and recommend without hesitation!

18/01/2026: An excellent restaurant where we had a wonderful meal. Attentive service, an edible pink candle upon arrival, and delicious dishes. Wines at a fair price (which is quite rare these days). We had a lovely time. The restaurant lives up to its name!

15/02/2026: Luckily for them, they're in a good location. A tourist trap. Nothing on the plate, not even a carafe of water, and the "house specialty" fish soup was tasteless. Keep walking; I think they're raking it in because of the location that they've stopped making any effort. Too bad for us!

04/07/2025: Honestly, great meal, very good service, nothing to complain about there. On the other hand, a little disappointed with the terrace: the table right next to us chained cigarettes non-stop, and since we are not smokers, it spoiled the moment a little and filled the terrace with smoke. Too bad, because without that it would have been great.. But hey it's a shame to think that you can't enjoy the terrace if you don't smoke and the terrace isn't non-smoking.

01/07/2025: Amazing food, I got the steak, amazing service too! Not terribly pricey for insanely good food! If I lived in Strasbourg, I'd come here as often as I could.

03/02/2026: I often go on Tuesdays and Samuel and Pierre's service is excellent, always smiling and welcoming. I recommend the bar.

27/01/2026: If you don't know where to go for an aperitif with friends or eat a good charcuterie board, Au Rencard is the place to go. Top location and top level staff!!!

31/12/2025: A very good experience at Chasse-Marée in Les Portes-en-Ré. The welcome is warm and the setting pleasant. The cuisine showcases fresh, high-quality produce, with a strong emphasis on fish and seafood. The dishes are flavorful, beautifully presented, and expertly prepared. The service is attentive and professional without being intrusive. All in all, it makes for an excellent experience, ideal for lunch or dinner during a stay on Île de Ré. A restaurant we readily recommend.
