27/05/2026: A must-visit when you're in the south! Charming, simple, and comfortable rooms in a small, family-run hotel right in the heart of the pretty village. Relaxing, shaded outdoor areas with a lovely pool for cooling off and unwinding. But what about the restaurant?! A journey for the senses! Both the view and the taste buds are a feast! Refined cuisine, prepared with love using local and seasonal produce! Honestly, one of the best restaurants I've ever been to (starred or not). High-quality ingredients, beautifully presented, and above all, everything is homemade! And finally, a wonderful welcome! Incredible: this hotel is run by a young woman of only 30! Practically single-handedly! I admire her courage and talent! I'll definitely be back soon! I recommend it 1000%!

14/06/2026: In addition to being excellent, the service at this restaurant is fantastic. The staff are incredibly kind and friendly. You can't visit Lyon without eating at La Gratinée.

22/05/2026: Nothing but positive things to say! The bouncer/cook/waiter/superman is impressive in the number of tasks he manages efficiently at once. The meal is truly excellent and generous. The decor is very nice. The atmosphere is friendly. The price is reasonable, considering the establishment's constraints. In short, the whole experience is much better than what one might expect from a late-night restaurant. A must-try!

21/05/2026: We had lunch today at this lovely restaurant, a small table overlooking the mountains. The welcome was warm and professional, with a great sense of humor and efficient service. We ate two delicious pan-fried tartiflettes, perfectly crispy and caramelized on the outside and soft inside, topped with melted Reblochon cheese. It was so good that we can't wait to come back! Well done... keep up the good work! 👏

The waiters are attentive, and the dishes are simple yet excellent, featuring traditional French cuisine with a few international options. My mother loves to gather us there with her grandchildren on Wednesdays. Remember to book ahead.

24/05/2026: Two stays at this establishment, a year apart, and each time the same warm and welcoming atmosphere, spacious and well-equipped rooms at a very reasonable price, and an affordable breakfast with good quality products. A lovely terrace. The overnight package I tried last year was perfect. This type of establishment, which prioritizes customer service and comfort, deserves our support and is truly appreciated.

01/06/2026: Southwestern cuisine. Bistro on a quiet street. Sloping terrace. You don't come here for the ambiance. However, I thoroughly enjoyed the tripe. The snails, Papa, could have used a touch of Espelette pepper, in my opinion. Starter + main course + dessert + 50cl of Côtes de Provence AOC rosé (not deer wine - (very good)) = €63. For the price, I would have appreciated a small glass of brandy, a sugar cube, or a coffee, but hey, it's Paris's 13th arrondissement; the generosity of the Southwest is a thousand miles away.

06/04/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A fantastic Easter weekend at Château de la Motte in Liessies! The Easter menu was simply exceptional: generous, flavorful cuisine with excellent value for money. Special mention goes to the rack of lamb, perfectly paired with a very good red wine. The children's menu is also very well thought out: our daughter loved it! We also spent the night there in a very comfortable family room, with two separate areas and a lovely bathroom. A hearty breakfast was the perfect way to start the day. A warm welcome, impeccable service, and the kind of family atmosphere we love. We completely understand why the establishment is celebrating its 90th anniversary! A must-visit in the Avesnois region — we will definitely be back! 👍

05/04/2026: Excellent place. Beautiful surroundings. We stayed in the guest rooms 300 meters from the castle. No complaints whatsoever, the room was very clean, with a common room where we met some very friendly people from Haute-Savoie with their adorable dog. As for the castle restaurant, everything was very good, a very warm welcome and excellent food. From the owners to the staff, nothing to criticize. Super friendly, very attentive, and caring towards their guests. They are all very down-to-earth and welcoming. I highly recommend this place. We went with my daughter and son-in-law, who had already been, and they wanted to show it to us, and I understand why. In fact, they remembered it very well and wanted to share it with us. No regrets. Thank you again for your hospitality. We will gladly return. I must admit, the owner teased us a bit; it was the Lille-Lens derby match. But all in good fun.
