04/08/2026: The tarte flambée is excellent. The owner is friendly and accommodating...we were able to get a tarte flambée that was half gratinéed and half regular.

01/08/2026: I discovered this restaurant quite by chance during our 6th wedding anniversary celebration. It was a truly wonderful find. The Alsatian decor is superb, my wife and two sons received a very warm welcome, and the tarte flambée and pizzas were delicious. The waitress was very kind and helpful. We ate inside (it was air-conditioned), but the terrace is also very pleasant. A big thank you for contributing to this festive occasion...

12/06/2026: Excellent discovery. The food is of very high quality. The dishes are delightful surprises. The service is attentive and warm. Everything is homemade. The salads served as starters are refreshing and flavorful. The various ravioli are a treat. The beef Stroganoff is also delicious. The portions are generous. In short, a wonderful discovery! And I'll be back!

26/07/2026: Booked by chance online and what a pleasant surprise! The welcome was very friendly, the waitresses were fantastic. Excellent set menu, great value for money at €25 for a starter/main course/cheese or dessert. The cooking was perfect and the seasoning was well-balanced, with a special mention for the fish. The desserts weren't too sweet, which is rare these days. Well done, you're proof of honest dining. I highly recommend it.

26/07/2026: A pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. Attentive and friendly service. A focus on quality local produce. Excellent and surprising amuse-bouches, starters, main courses, and desserts. Someone called this establishment a gem; there were four of us, and we unanimously agree. We're delighted to have discovered XAYA, in the other gem that is Saint-Jean-de-Luz. See you soon!

26/07/2026: Passing through Alba on market day, at 11 am, we decided to have a drink. The terrace was crowded, but the owner refused us service in a rude manner. We didn't understand his reaction! It's a shame because we were planning to stay for lunch...

I find this unacceptable, especially since in 2026, serious people who don't insult customers are looking for work. I would like this to be reported to a supervisor. Frankly, I am very disappointed; I used to love your restaurant.

29/07/2026: We're discovering Le Cateau, the new home of some of our family members. This little bistro is absolutely charming, respecting the traditions of the region in its decor, service, and food! The Northern specialties are generous and delicious, and the service is always friendly, with jokes and a welcoming atmosphere! It's a lovely place to stop by for lunch or an afternoon treat with an ice cream on the terrace overlooking the Matisse Museum! Be warned, they're often full! 🤗

26/07/2026: We discovered this restaurant completely by chance while driving around Collobrières, and what a pleasant surprise! The welcome was particularly warm and friendly. We even had the pleasure of chatting with a local, which made the experience even more authentic and enjoyable. As someone who is lactose intolerant, I'm often cautious when eating out, but the staff were attentive and very accommodating. I was able to fully enjoy my meal without any worries. The pizzas were absolutely delicious: a flavorful crust, quality ingredients, and amazing taste. A real treat! A great place where you feel right at home, which we wholeheartedly recommend to anyone passing through Collobrières. Warm regards from Savoy.

24/07/2026: A great place to eat in Paramé. The homemade dishes are delicious and generous. The savory crepes are also excellent. The owners are very kind and welcoming. The side terrace is lovely for enjoying sunny days. I highly recommend it! 🙂

22/07/2026: The galettes were very good, and the atmosphere was pleasant. But the downside was the service... You have to wait... Not enough staff. A shame.

15/07/2026: We called on Alain again for a birthday meal. The appetizer platters and lamb shank were a true delight, as always. The dishes are prepared with finesse, the fresh vegetables are perfectly seasoned... and the portions are very generous. You can go there without hesitation! Thank you, Alain.
