17/10/2025: An unexpected meal in a warm atmosphere

16/09/2025: I’m conflicted about this place. The food was wholesome and enjoyable, with a nostalgic charm and genuinely warm hospitality. Unfortunately, the experience was undermined by a serious pest problem — cockroaches on the walls, curtains, and even our table, plus a jar of poison sitting on the opposite table. What could have been a unique, hearty meal was overshadowed by health and safety concerns.

19/04/2026: Excellent. Great selection of whisky and rum, and thanks to the owner's recommendations, you can't go wrong. Incidentally, the owner responded very well to the numerous jokes from one of my colleagues (who didn't hold back). The food is good. I had a great time. I'll definitely go back.

26/02/2026: A dining room with seating for about thirty. Always satisfied with the quality and presentation of the food. Coraline, the smiling and professional waitress, has been there for several years and works perfectly with the chef. And it shows in the dining room! Always served on a hot plate, a detail that is much appreciated. Excellent value for money, so don't hesitate (by booking in advance...). A few photos: An exceptional meal for Valentine's Day 2022: Chicken ravioli with morel sauce, Rossini beef fillet (extra) with almond potatoes, chocolate and caramel dessert, all accompanied by a superb Lerouge champagne. The result: an exceptional memory. Alternatively, a "normal meal": Landes salad with foie gras, crispy Camembert with honey and walnuts, cod in an almond crust with citrus sauce, a beautiful ribeye steak with Périgord sauce and three vegetables, and to finish, a very good gourmet coffee or a homemade mille-feuille.

You can watch the chef passionately working with fresh, local ingredients. The service is very quick and genuinely friendly. The restaurant is small, so reservations are highly recommended. Lovers of good food and a convivial atmosphere will definitely find something to enjoy here. I particularly loved the mille-feuille, which was excellent. Thank you to the chef for this exceptional culinary experience, and thank you to the waitresses for this friendly and welcoming moment. I highly recommend it.

The perfect recipe for a truly delightful experience 😋 👉 I absolutely loved the counter, which I highly recommend: being right up close to the kitchen, watching the team at work, chatting with the chefs… it’s a truly memorable experience 🍳✨ And what an atmosphere! Contrary to the stereotype of high-pressure kitchens, here everything is done calmly, cheerfully, and with a smile 😊 You can feel the close-knit, passionate team, and it shows in the food as well as the overall atmosphere. 21/04/2026: Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the generous portions. I was on a business trip with the Hôtel des Ducs, and I admit I was apprehensive because, generally, when the hotel is different from the restaurant, you're often treated like an afterthought. But this was a wonderful surprise; I highly recommend it.

Still perfect, a restaurant where you're torn between several starters, main courses, and desserts... the flavors are subtle and sophisticated, and the presentation is also very refined. 22/03/2026: Good evening, Passing through Pamiers for the weekend, we were looking for a semi-gastronomic restaurant to treat ourselves. The welcome was impeccable, and the staff were helpful and smiling. The service was quick, and there was no wait. We were served a small creamy soup before the starter while we waited for our aperitif. The dishes were very good and refined. If I had to mention one negative point, which might not even be one (I didn't dare ask), I didn't see any wine by the glass on the menu; there were only bottles. My wife doesn't drink wine, and I was driving, so I couldn't order a whole bottle. But otherwise, everything was truly perfect, and the owner was very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely return. Regarding the dining room, the tables are large, making it pleasant to eat at; you don't feel cramped or confined. We were upstairs, and the atmosphere was quiet—nothing to complain about.
