01/03/2026: A little tip if you ever book: remember to let them know 2 hours in advance if anyone can't make it, otherwise it's an extra €10 per person... and on top of that, you get yelled at in front of everyone! It's completely unprofessional!

The dishes were generous and delicious, and the service was impeccable. A very good, friendly, and delicious restaurant.

I asked the cashier if that was normal for the price, and he told me there was more than usual. His "gesture of goodwill" was a tub of whipped cream. So much for generosity from Columbus!

16/02/2026: Passing through Montauban, we booked a table at this restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by the welcome. From the appetizer to the dessert, everything was top-notch. The waitress was lovely and smiling, the meal was excellent, the service was quick, and for February 14th, there was a little Valentine's Day decoration. In short, perfect. Go without hesitation!

11/03/2026: My partner and I absolutely loved the experience. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant. The layout is excellent, and we had no trouble conversing. We chose the signature menu, which was superb. The presentation, the flavors, and the introduction to South African cuisine were all outstanding. We rediscovered some ingredients that are usually overlooked, presented in new forms and textures. The Mozart-shaped pat of butter was surprising at first, but we enjoyed tasting the different flavors offered. The cheese room also has its own unique ambiance. The selection of cheeses was of very high quality and allowed us to discover combinations we would never have considered. Finally, the service was impeccable. The sommelier's recommendations, the touches of humor, and the chef's story shared at every opportunity all contributed to this positive impression. Congratulations to the entire team, and thank you for a wonderful evening. We look forward to returning to your restaurant someday to discover or rediscover new flavors.

08/03/2026: My family and I visited the Jan restaurant once again. All the dishes still have excellent flavor. A luxurious selection of cheeses is presented at the specialty Maria cheese hall. The service meets high professional standards. Visiting with dogs is allowed. For my son, all the dishes were prepared in a vegan version.

23/02/2026: This was the best restaurant we had in France for our price range! It's located on the corner of a square. The salmon was perfectly seared, and the fish and chips were the best I've ever had. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the dining environment was excellent. They even exchanged some change for me when I paid in cash – I was so grateful! Perhaps because of its location, it wasn't very crowded. Highly recommended!
