22/05/2026: A bad and final experience (comment from a restaurant manager). I've already eaten here twice, and I thought the first time wasn't good, but apparently neither was the second: - Slow service (over 20 minutes without a menu, during which they pretended not to see you even though they'd seated you) - A very mediocre waiter who thinks he knows his job but doesn't at all; good only for holding a tray because the customer isn't a priority for him (the young runner was more efficient and courteous, but forbidden from taking orders, which is a shame, as he's much more responsive). Bonus: a misogynistic joke at the end of the meal, brilliant! - Still just as expensive, but not at all justified because it's mediocre (they hide the quality with quantity). Making Instagram stories or bringing in an influencer hasn't improved anything (except for some completely dishonest Google points). When your terrace is only for drinks (fewer than 30 customers with 4 guys at the counter plus 1 bartender), it's unbelievable to be this bad. Luckily the regulars are there because, frankly, it's a real waste of time and money. There are plenty of other options in Vincennes, so keep walking.

17/06/2025: Excellent cuisine, sublime, very tasty, with an abundance of flavors. For our 40th wedding anniversary, we had the 7-course menu, with wine pairing. It was divine, exceeding our expectations, and even more. Bravo to the chef and his team; the Michelin star is well-deserved.

30/05/2026: A very nice restaurant with a large terrace. The food was very good, and you could also order extras that weren't on the menu (e.g., a side salad). Definitely make a reservation in advance.

22/01/2026: The value for money and the quality of the meals, the freshness of the food and the warm welcome from the waiters and the owner – everything is there to make you feel right at home.

14/01/2026: The place is stuck in the past. The menu is on a chalkboard, but they don't tell you that. The waitress was completely unprofessional; she came back at least three times for the bricks because she wasn't available, even though it was 12:15 pm. The same goes for the main courses; there were four of us, but we ate in pairs because the service was incredibly slow. We only got our bottle of wine almost at the very end, and the same goes for the after-dinner drinks; the owner brought them to us in dribs and drabs. The food is very classic: herring in oil, a classic, so it's hard to go wrong; the mechoui was very generous but very dry; the couscous was also very generous, but the semolina was just passable because the chicken was very dry and the broth was average. It's a place for locals who are regulars, but the price reflects the quality. The portions are indeed very generous, but the price is in line with the taste.

14/06/2026: This is our fifth visit, and we've brought our friends to discover this charming little restaurant. The welcome is always warm, the service impeccable—polite, attentive, and always smiling, which is so rare these days. The portions are generous and delicious. In short, we're never disappointed and are always happy to spend a pleasant time in this bistro with its beautifully prepared traditional dishes. We're tempted to try the second restaurant (La Gorgée) next door, but each time we come back here for fear of not finding what we love about this place!

07/12/2025: Excellent lunch this Sunday very good value for money Dishes beautifully presented, a feast for the eyes and the palate! We will gladly return for another occasion €50 per person, but includes aperitif, starter, main course, dessert, and a glass of wine. The foie gras was succulent! The starter was a particular favorite.

26/05/2026: A superb discovery on market day with the market menu... three small amuse-bouches followed by a complimentary zucchini gazpacho before the starter and main course. Innovative cuisine that reinterprets French culinary classics with the chef's own twist; the daily menu represents exceptional value for money.
