16/09/2026: A wonderful discovery near Place Gambetta. We tried the pulled pork burger and the tuna tataki. I particularly enjoyed the homemade fries and the sweet potato purée. The atmosphere is pleasant, cozy, and comfortable.

07/09/2026: Passing through for the holidays, we showed up without a reservation, a group of five, for lunch on a weekday, and we were treated like royalty (though a reservation is still recommended as it's a small restaurant, haha). - My favorite restaurant of the holiday. Delicious food, impeccable service. Truly my favorite restaurant in Royan. We'll definitely be back! 🩵

From the moment we arrived, the welcome was remarkable: attentive, personalized, and exquisitely refined. On the plate, it was absolutely flawless. Each dish demonstrated remarkable mastery, combining subtle flavors with irresistible finesse. Not a single false note; everything was just right, balanced, and refined. The wine cellar was equally impressive: the recommendations for food and wine pairings were simply perfect, highlighting each creation with great precision. Finally, a special mention for the service, impeccable from beginning to end. Combining such a level of professionalism with so many genuine smiles and kindness made the experience even more delightful. A must-visit in Le Touquet for lovers of fine cuisine.

21/09/2026: The biggest challenge is finding the restaurant. It's a rather unappealing new building nestled among budget hotels and commercial properties. Inside, however, it's a lovely, cozy space. The kitchen offers attractive, imaginative menus, expertly prepared, such as classic duck liver terrine or lobster and langoustine salad, redfish in a curried mussel sauce, sweetbreads, and a Grand Marnier soufflé. Prices range from €41 to €70, depending on the selection. Excellent value for money, including the wines.

18/09/2026: I've been a fan of L'Arche de Meslay for a long time, where I eat regularly, but a few things bother me. The owner and his wife are charming, which isn't the case for their two employees who serve like robots. One of them is the sommelier but doesn't share anything about the wines, and the wine list doesn't live up to the quality of the food. Since the owners returned from their well-deserved vacation, the prices have gone up considerably while the quality of the food has decreased. I was disappointed by my last visit, especially since the value for money was previously one of the best in the area.

25/08/2026: Nice decor, the terrace must be superb in summer. The building is truly beautiful. Warm welcome, attentive and helpful waiters. However, the food isn't quite as good as the setting. The steak tartare was bland, and I tasted my husband's fish—in that tiny 2 cm square, I found three bones. Perhaps I was just unlucky. But when you order a fish fillet in a restaurant, I expect it to be boneless. I thought my son's hamburger (from the children's menu) was good, but he didn't like it. I did, however, enjoy the fries and the mayonnaise, which seemed homemade, and the waitress (owner?) was very kind. If the food isn't a major part of the meal, it's a great spot to get out of the city.

22/08/2026: Superb place, very warm welcome. We ate well, table of 6. I'm giving it 4 stars because one person at the table was unfortunately ill the next day, but that can happen, especially as the person had a sensitive digestive system.
