23/02/2026: On Sunday at lunchtime, I went to Château du Port, a restaurant I consider to be a fine dining establishment. The foie gras was exceptional, absolutely divine. The gratinated oysters served as a second course were simply excellent: I've never eaten such delicious ones. As for the beef, it was so tender and flavorful you could cut it with a butter knife, and its accompaniment was equally delicious. The cheese was also very good; you can tell it comes directly from top-quality producers. The price is quite reasonable considering the quality and variety of the menu. I've had the opportunity to dine at Paul Bocuse several times, and this restaurant allowed me to rediscover the taste of some of the dishes I've enjoyed there. The service is impeccable: very little waiting despite the dishes being prepared fresh to order. Both the waitress and the waiter provide professional and attentive service. I recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

12/04/2026: A bucolic setting in fine weather, where you can have lunch in the courtyard under the immense oak tree. The interior is just as pleasant, with a warm atmosphere as soon as you step inside. The menu is simple: three or four starters, the same for the main courses, and a daily dessert. Everything is homemade, and it shows! The main course costs €17, very good value for money. The food is healthy and full of flavor. The service is friendly and prompt. A perfect score for Le Renard Bleu.

20/04/2026: Excellent restaurant, the dishes are generous and delicious. The service is quick and friendly. The cheese platter is to die for! Plus, it's not too crowded, so the atmosphere on the veranda is relatively calm.

12/04/2026: An absolutely exceptional experience at Bistro de l’Octroi in Sarlat! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with rare kindness and warmth. We immediately felt at home, with a caring and passionate team. As for the food, it was simply a delight: we savored absolutely sublime Périgord specialties (a special mention for the duck confit). Each dish was flavorful, generous, and perfectly executed—a true culinary journey! This is an establishment that truly deserves to be known and recognized. If you are passing through Sarlat, don't miss it: stop by, you won't be disappointed!

A warm and welcoming family business with a very kind and attentive waiter, more than reasonable prices, and a delightful discovery: the crêpe burger! Thank you for this wonderful experience.

05/01/2026: The food is excellent, but the portions are very small, which is a shame. The same goes for the wine glasses. Ours were definitely less than 12cl. How can you expect to build customer loyalty with a business like that? The service is adequate, but not up to the standard of the food. They ask us how we did without even looking at us—that says it all about their attention! 😅 In short, remember, food isn't everything!

The dishes were very tasty and the value for money was excellent. And the service was top-notch. Well done to the whole team! It's a shame to leave Sare. We would have come back.

08/04/2026: Lovely place to stop for a meal. The service is wonderful and accommodating, the setting is beautiful. The food was delicious and the local fish was ethereal. I’m glad I had the crème brûlée even though I was full as it was delicious. I’ll be back for the food, the see ice and the views.

07/04/2026: Delicious, very generous portions, original... and very, very friendly. Ideally located because it's not too high up... so less cold and less tiring than other mountain restaurants. Bonus: one of the few places where you can have lunch outside while keeping an eye on your skis!
