26/09/2024: Deux diners successifs, deux expérience superbes pour un rapport qualité prix parfait.
Un souvenir marquant, la paupiette de truite aux écrevisses, sauce crème et vin jaune... Ajouter une belle carte des vins et un service efficace et souriant (la première fois où je demande une précision sur la cuisson d'un plat et où on va chercher le chef en cuisine pour me répondre ....)

On y mange très bien .
Ris de veau hyper bon et une découverte : langue de bœuf salée et fumée, plat local très bon
Les serveuses très souriantes et sympathiques

I was only passing through, but if I were to come back, this is where I would go to eat.

27/06/2025: Sylvie the boss always tries to take care of her customers. The cuisine is classic, made with regional products. You don't come to Maurette's to eat gourmet food, it's an old-fashioned restaurant with its fireplace, much appreciated in cool weather!

The waffle was just as good 😙.
Thank you to the owners for their warm welcome; we had a great chat about the snack bar and the surrounding area (mill, castle).
On my next bike ride, this is a must-stop.

17/09/2024: 2ème fois dans ce restaurant et nous sommes de nouveau contents. L'adresse parfaite pour les touristes avec un menu bourguignon classique mais savoureux dans une jolie salle/cave voutée.
Le personnel est agréable et professionnel.
15/09/2024: Attracted by the super reviews, we had an enjoyable if somewhat expensive dinner. We had made a reservation and were pleased to be seated in the cellar, which was not guaranteed. There isnt a wine list but a "Bible"and we were happy to be guided through it by a member of the team. The wines are as eye wateringly expensive as you would expect in a fine dining restaurant.
This review should have been 5* but the fish main course was really an incredibly small piece of sea bass and it was hard to find the figs in the fig tart. By contrast the beef cheek was a huge portion. The highlight of our meal was being guided through the cheeseboard to understand the provenance of the local cheeses and the right order in which to eat them to enjoy their flavours to the full.

20/05/2025: Lunch on the terrace today with a budget-friendly menu featuring fresh produce (a simple strawberry salad for dessert) and homemade quiche Lorraine for starters).
The service was just right (fast and efficient).
I recommend this spot, away from the noise and crowds of Place des Vosges. 👌👌

And what a great discovery. A perfect welcome, attentive and above all very friendly. Cuisine that is just as succulent and hearty.
The decor is like the restaurant, typical and warm.
In short, a must-see address in the city.

15/09/2024: We had an exceptional time this Saturday lunchtime at the Excoffier Père et Fils restaurant, located rue de l'Exposition in Paris 7th. Warmly welcomed, there were three of us and we were delighted both by the quality of the service and by the cuisine. As a starter, the snails, perfectly seasoned, reminded me of the ones my mother prepared, a real treat. The poultry soufflé with morels that followed was equally excellent, and to finish, a sweet caramel soufflé, visually magnificent and tastefully perfectly balanced. Each dish was a pleasure for the eyes and taste buds. We had an unforgettable time and will come back very soon to discover other dishes. A must-see address!
