19/05/2026: I don't know what to tell you, seriously, my wife and I really appreciate good food, and to be honest, this time we went to Hippopotamus in Aéroville (I have to specify that). The starter was absolutely insane! The ravioli and chicken bites were an incredible explosion of flavor, and the burgers were perfectly cooked and excellent. The sides were great, with a delicious homemade sauce. Honestly, I'd give it a 9/10 (you can't give 10, you know, lol). I highly recommend it, and enjoy your meal!

24/03/2026: We had wanted to try this restaurant for a very long time, and we shouldn't have hesitated. The food is excellent. An added bonus was finding cloth tablecloths and napkins.

26/05/2026: With all the rave reviews and the promise of "homemade" written on the restaurant's facade, we were expecting a lovely evening. In reality, we mostly got a whirlwind tour: three servers taking turns to take our order before we'd even finished our aperitifs… it was hard to feel welcome, a sign of internal disorganization, we felt like we were being timed. As for the food, the disappointment continued: - Salmon tartare: roughly chopped, swimming in olive oil, with no seasoning whatsoever. The almost nonexistent avocado added nothing, and the "house" salad seemed to have come straight from a bag. 🤨😬 - XXL ribeye steak: cooked OK, but so fatty it could have been renamed XL… in our delusions. The pepper sauce arrived lukewarm, and the sides (three vegetables and new potatoes) were about as inspired as a daily special on a rainy Monday. For €70, we expected more than a rushed meal and a hurried atmosphere. In short: an experience far, far from what the reviews led us to believe.

17/05/2026: I didn't stay at Chez Dupont, but my wife and I had dinner there. It was a good meal; the sweetbreads in particular were excellent. It was a little cramped, though; the tables could have been spaced a bit further apart.

The intimate atmosphere and warm decor contributed greatly to the success of the evening. I couldn't have dreamed of a better place for this event.
