29/03/2026: Third visit to this restaurant and a little disappointed by my meal yesterday! The beef tongue didn't seem homemade? I make it myself, so I know what I'm talking about 😉. The rabbit rillettes were bland and tasteless. On the other hand, the waffle is still as good as ever. It's a shame to go to a restaurant if you can make better at home 🤨.

26/04/2026: Absolutely avoid! The supposedly amazing Train Bleu menu, priced at a mere €120, was dreadful from start to finish. A disgrace to French gastronomy. Only the decor offered any redeeming qualities. To begin, a so-called duck foie gras with pigeon mousse (a complete sham, just pigeon mousse, Parisian pigeon, judging by the taste!), then overcooked monkfish, a beef fillet for which we were never asked how we wanted it cooked—that gives you an idea of ​​the level of quality—and dessert, a poached pear in red wine with a puff pastry that looked like it had been sitting on for ages… a truly disappointing experience!

13/10/2025: I highly recommend this restaurant, located a short distance from the city center (a 3-minute drive). The cuisine is prepared with local produce, and therefore the menu varies seasonally. Excellent value for money. We had a cocktail, a lemonade, and two starter/main course/dessert menus for a total of €80. The food is very well seasoned and the portions are generous. The staff is friendly, cheerful, and attentive. The setting is calm and spacious. You can eat in the shade or in the sun.

19/04/2026: A beautiful spot in the heart of Calvi, with a lovely terrace and a warm atmosphere. The dishes are delicious and generous, served in a small pan. I had the spaghetti with prawns (at least eight large ones). If you're passing through Calvi, this is a must-visit. The staff is efficient. I highly recommend it.

The cuisine is generous, with perfectly crisp spring rolls and flavorful dishes that avoid the trap of being overly greasy. It's simple, efficient, and above all, remarkably consistent in quality. It's the perfect spot for a quick lunch or a relaxing evening without any unpleasant surprises. Why not 5 stars? The decor might be a touch dated and could use a little updating to be truly immersive, but that's really nitpicking. The value for money, however, is unbeatable.
