06/08/2026: FAMILY-FREE! If you're looking for a restaurant where families with children are clearly not welcome, you've come to the right place. Our experience was very disappointing. We sat directly on the terrace so as not to disturb the other customers and to avoid arriving with our six hungry children in an enclosed dining room. When I went to announce our arrival and ask for confirmation that we could be seated, we were asked to leave in a particularly aggressive manner. We have filed a complaint with the relevant authorities.

17/07/2026: I received a call from Mr. Josse, the restaurant manager, who was quite aggressive about an online Booking.com review I hadn't left. This prompted me to share my experience here. I booked a table for a family dinner at La Voile, and the experience was very average. The service was very fast, perhaps too fast, and there was a sense of pressure to finish quickly and vacate the table. The restaurant's interior was very hot, with no air conditioning or ventilation, and the noise level was very high. The food was good, but the portions were a bit small for the price. Finally, the two young men who looked after our table were very friendly and welcoming, but this wasn't the case with some of the other staff, whose approach to customers was quite harsh. The restaurant is ideally located on the port of Dahouët and even in a strategic spot, making it a perfect place to stop after a pleasant walk. However, I would recommend keeping an eye out for other surrounding possibilities.

14/08/2026: Fantastic welcome! Excellent food. We opted for the weekday lunch special, which included Saint Marcellin cheese toast and caillette salad as starters, followed by steak tartare with fries and ravioli gratin with Saint Marcellin cheese as main courses. And what's more, the set menu is very affordable at €16.80 for a starter and main course. A great find!

14/08/2026: Some of the best food we have had on our France trip! The Ravioles du Dauphiné au gratin was delicious, as was the salad, and cream puffs. Would come back in a heartbeat!

03/07/2026: A disastrous experience from start to finish. I chose the set menu, and it was a huge disappointment. The starter, the terrine, consisted of two tiny pieces worthy of a mid-range cafeteria, accompanied by three leaves of lamb's lettuce and a single, sad cherry tomato. All of this was served without any sauce, on a simple dessert plate. For the main course, I opted for the cuttlefish with parsley and garlic, served with homemade fries. I had no idea it was possible to make cuttlefish so rubbery. The product was clearly frozen—which doesn't bother me if it's well-cooked—but here, the cuttlefish was still releasing all its water onto my plate. As for the homemade fries, the flavor was there, but they were sorely lacking in crispness (homemade fries shouldn't be synonymous with soggy fries). Only the parsley and garlic sauce somewhat redeemed the dish. My companion ordered the tuna. Upon tasting it, I noticed it was still cold in the center and had been boiled instead of seared or grilled. Unacceptable for a hot dish. The dessert, on the other hand, was clearly not homemade, but it was good... at least there's that. The major issue with the service: As an aperitif, I ordered sangria. I explicitly asked three times if it was homemade (twice before ordering and once after receiving it). All three times, the waitress assured me it was, looking me straight in the eye, even though it was clearly from a commercial container. Lying openly to a customer is unacceptable. In short, I absolutely do not recommend it.

The staff are kind, professional, attentive, and generous, not to mention the creativity and talent of the chefs in both the kitchen and pastry shop... A feast for the eyes and the palate... an address not to be missed, whether for family gatherings, get-togethers with friends, or for seminars and corporate events. I highly recommend Domaine de Bellevue!

26/04/2026: I visited this estate twice (2024 and 2026), during the day, for family gatherings with a savory and sweet buffet. The setting is absolutely magnificent, the grounds are very well maintained and spotless. The food was excellent (fresh, with plenty of choice, and the savory dishes were piping hot!), and the staff is kind, discreet, and professional. It's always a pleasure to return!
