05/05/2026: A truly wonderful experience at Les Grands Buffets. A magnificent place that showcases classic regional recipes, with an impressive selection. The wine list is remarkable, and the desserts are simply divine. Special mention goes to the rotisserie and the slow-cooked dishes, which are both flavorful and generous. The decor is incredible, with a real emphasis on presentation that enhances the prestigious atmosphere. A particular favorite was the foie gras selection—a true delight. A must-visit, at least once!

05/05/2026: You pull up and find the restaurant sandwiched between a bowling alley and swimming pool. That should have been oir first clue! We had one of the worst customer service experience in a very long time. Traveled 12 hours by plane to be told there was a technical glitch with our reservation and maybe in 4 hours we can get in. The website crashes constantly, the whole experience was again one of the worst restaurant experiences we have had, and I run restaurants for 30 years, so we feel we know what we are talking about.

11/04/2026: We came with our grandchildren, aged 3.5 and 5. The welcome was more than perfect. We felt right at home. Emilie took excellent care of us. She went out of her way to make our meal easier, especially for the children, for whom she offered numerous solutions: adapted menus (an improved dish, not quite on the menu, and half a dessert of each flavor of ice cream because it was too difficult to choose between lemon and apricot). And all this without us even complaining; it was simply her initiative. The gratin was very good and very generous, the guinea fowl was perfectly cooked. The omelet my husband ordered was also very good and... equally generous. Seeing that our plates weren't empty, Emilie spontaneously offered us a doggy bag. The atmosphere was relaxed. We came on a Thursday at lunchtime, and there wasn't much of a wait. Emilie (again!) made sure the children were served first. Highly recommended! We'll be back.

06/05/2026: A truly wonderful experience. Julien and Mélanie are incredibly kind and professional... We were treated like royalty. The dishes were all equally delicious. Exquisite cuisine, exquisite flavors, and a superb wine cellar. It's a good thing I don't live nearby; I'd be here every day! If you're looking for a restaurant in Gruissan, this is the one.

29/04/2026: We ate at this restaurant and tried several dishes from the menu; everything was absolutely delicious. The welcome was particularly warm; the owner and her mother are lovely and very attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal in a very clean setting, with excellent value for money. Special mention also goes to the children's menus, which were generous and delicious. Our children loved them and are still asking for the mussels in cream sauce! We were just passing through the area, but we enjoyed the experience so much that we wanted to come back a second time before leaving… unfortunately, it was their weekly closing day 🥹 In short, everything was perfect from start to finish. We highly recommend it!

17/04/2026: While traveling in Corsica in April, I had booked a table by phone two weeks prior for a Friday evening. On the evening in question, the staff present were unable to locate my reservation, and the waiter kept looking at his list, saying, "No, I know this one, I know this one too..." I do not recommend this restaurant to non-Corsicans. We had a very pleasant evening at Chez Don Quichotte restaurant.

10/05/2026: Honestly, I expected better for the price 😉 Artichokes and wild asparagus??? Fideuà with "mini" shrimp and clams. For the price, I won't be going back. I was disappointed. I prefer to eat at Le Flamant Rose in Canet-en-Roussillon.

Service above and beyond - as English people on vacation the waitress was so helpful and even translated menu items with either her phone or prier knowledge of the language! Food was beyond amazing - deserts was amazing and so well presented and the extra garnishings added made the whole experience incredible Price was absolutely amazing for the service and the portions of the HIGH quality food.

09/04/2026: A magnificent restaurant with a peaceful and soothingly decorated terrace. The staff were lovely, just the way I like them, with a gentle touch that made me feel right at home. My sweetheart and I each ordered a salad, and they were enormous (a Beaujolais and a Caesar). This will probably be the only time we visit, but if we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely stop by again without hesitation. A huge thank you to them for starting our three-day vacation on such a truly wonderful note.
