I've tried almost everything they make, and there's really nothing to dislike; everything is delicious. My go-to is the tuna sandwich, and when they run out, the saleswoman makes one for me right away, no problem, with a smile. It's these little touches that keep you coming back. You really feel welcome; it's a true family bakery, and you can feel it every time. It's such a refreshing change from all those chains where you're just another customer. Here, it's all about craftsmanship, quality, and above all, lovely people.

31/08/2026: It's hard to decide between 3 and 4 stars. It's not ultra-refined, but it's good and homemade, and the dishes are beautifully presented. The set menu is quite good value (€23.90 for a starter, main course, and dessert, with only one choice for the main course), but ordering à la carte is a bit pricey. The place is charming but quickly becomes too noisy; with a large table next door, you can't hear yourself think. The service is quick and friendly.

22/09/2026: We booked a table at Le Chaudron. The place is away from the rather large crowds for this September weekend. The shaded terrace is pure bliss, the staff are very friendly, everything is unpretentious, the menu is very good too, the shepherd's salad is delicious and generous. In short, pure bliss, plus the fact that it's right in the heart of the city. A well-regarded address, recommended in our case by locals from Carcassonne...

Special mention goes to the super friendly welcome, the beauty of the main dining room, and the terrace overlooking its natural forest setting 🤩 The pig is raised on-site, and their fresh Munster cheese with cream deserves a special mention. In short, if you want a top-notch, intimate meal, go for it!

24/09/2026: Lovely brasserie in the city center; you can sit both under cover outside and inside. You can choose between a 2- or 3-course plat de jour for a very reasonable price or order à la carte. They have a small, compact menu with plenty of choice. I had a delicious steak, perfectly cooked with a cheese sauce, and my husband had a well-filled omelet. Save room for the café gourmet, as it is truly extensive. Great prices. Nice people work there. Highly recommended.

27/08/2026: Great restaurant. The food is fantastic, but what can I say about the wine recommendations (the markup is quite low, by the way). We took their advice and tasted some excellent bottles (Domaine des Milles Vignes and Restanques de Pibarnon). Go without hesitation!
