25/04/2026: Avoid at all costs. Not because the food is bad or the hygiene is appalling, but rather because the restaurant refuses to admit to serving dishes and desserts that aren't homemade. I'm assured that everything is homemade, yet the fries are plastic-coated and the same as those in the most dingy kebab shops. The breaded fish is frozen, the breading is the kind you'd find in an industrial product, and the desserts are advertised as homemade, but they're not homemade either. I would have accepted non-homemade service without any problem; it's a tourist restaurant on the banks of the Sorgue River, and I don't doubt that everything isn't homemade, which is even normal in a restaurant. But when I ask, "Is the chocolate fondant homemade?" and they tell me that EVERYTHING is homemade, then it's shameful to say that. And by the way, the toilets are next to the kitchen, and the door is open. I assure you, it's a reheating and plating kitchen, not a proper kitchen. Go for the pizzas, they're wood-fired, at least you won't be disappointed in my opinion.

25/04/2026: This is a very popular spot along the river. They seated a large group of 9 for lunch without any issues. The outdoor seating area was huge and packed, very narrow to walkthrough - that's a good sign. It took a bit for service but overall we were take care of. I ordered the Chicken Cesar salad, the chicken was breaded and cooked perfectly. It was the perfect lunch for a warm afternoon!

05/05/2026: The setting is idyllic, the service attentive, but the weak point is the quality of the food. It's truly stuck in the 90s... Uninspired, rather monotonous, lacking any zest, nothing to excite your taste buds. The octopus and shellfish salad was bland, lifeless, and dull. The duck breast was cooked perfectly, but it had the same garnishes as the seven-hour lamb, which needed another 6 hours and 45 minutes of cooking... Disappointing. The price-quality ratio is there. Not very expensive, but not very good... Really disappointed. What a shame.

13/04/2026: This restaurant was recommended to us by our B&B. I booked through Google (very convenient for non-French speakers) and luckily there was room. The food is excellent, with a reasonably priced daily menu. The lady who manages the restaurant is very kind and professional, and I thank her for her courtesy! Recommended!

28/04/2026: A welcome stop on the road from Quimper to Bordeaux. A lovely place to discover. A delicious lunch, excellent cuisine. A superb welcome. Close to the airport, watching the planes go by is a fascinating sight. We'll be back.

09/03/2026: The food at Le Bec Gourmand is excellent... It's very good and very generous. Even big eaters won't leave hungry. The menu isn't extensive, but everything here is homemade (including the mayonnaise and the snail butter). From appetizer to dessert. We recommend it for the simplicity of the place and the chef's expertise.

07/05/2026: Wanting to watch the Champions League match last night, I walked past the restaurant to reserve a table. The manager noted my name and the number of people in our party. When evening arrived, we were seated by the manager without regard for a seating plan or our reservation. The evening's menus weren't ready; we were told a special menu had been prepared for the event, which wasn't a problem in itself. Once the menus were distributed, the selection was indeed limited, with adjusted prices. What bothered us most, however, was the staff's attitude. The waiter, while clearly working diligently, initially told us that only main courses were available—no starters or desserts—and then, later in the evening, we saw desserts being served to other tables. Furthermore, despite the expected crowd for the match, the manager insisted that everything was "already booked" and gave clear, loud instructions: no young people, only those aged 40-50, "those who buy drinks." This policy left about ten seats empty all evening, even though these young people could have been future customers. The manager even came to blows with some of them, which is simply deplorable. To get a seat, you had to order dinner, not just have a drink, even ten minutes before the end of the match. A little more professionalism, preparation, and respect for all customers would have prevented an almost unbearable evening. I recommend that management review their reservation system, staff training in customer service, and the respectful treatment of all customers, regardless of who they are.

19/04/2026: I didn't really like the food. It was very simple, like home cooking. Poultry with mashed potatoes and ratatouille. Just like in my kitchen. That's how my mom and I used to cook. But at this place, home cooking costs 80 € for two. You pay for a seat.

The service, the quantity, and the presentation of the dishes were impeccable, and the food was delicious. A lovely, clean place where the customer is truly valued. Quite rare these days!
