29/09/2024: Unpretentious restaurant at the end of the world but away from the crowds. Justified reputation for the delicious lobster cauldron: 3 for 2 people! No room for dessert. Efficient, friendly and attentive service. Open from March to the end of September but worth the detour!

Concert super,nourriture excellente et service rapide. Vraiment on as été surpris sa change de tout les autres restaurants à tout point.merci à l’équipe on as passé une super soirée. On reviendra avec grand plaisir. J’en avais marre des restaurants où on as l’impression de déranger et celui ci m’a redonner goût au soirée restaurant. Agréablement surpris. Merci . Cindy et Yoann

This server reads your mind. Very good food.

We were warmly welcomed.
Amusement bouche offered at the start of the meal which was very good.
Quality service, waitress who knows her dishes and drinks, very good advice to help us in our choice when hesitating.
Cook who came to greet us and ask us if we liked the meal.
Hearty and quality dish and dessert.
I recommend to everyone!
I would be happy to come back during my next stay on the Ile de Ré!

20/09/2024: Sorry in advance to be so harsh (and it's not my habit, you can easily verify that), but despite the excellent taste of the dishes thanks to the very high quality products used and the devotion of the staff, I cannot do the impasse on this story of a plate of cheese sold for €12 which offers a quantity that could be described as "not even enough to make a free sample". I'm not even sure there was 50g on the board, it would have been funny to have a scale... This feeling of having been ripped off destroys everything else, unfortunately, because I hate it.
After kindly pointing this out to the staff at the end of the meal, they told me that this remark was very common, but the manager obviously ignored it.
“You know, cheese is very expensive”: here yes, if we calculate roughly, that comes to €240/kg for the end customer, it is indeed very expensive.
Customer Tip: Ask to see a sample board before ordering, and I defy you not to burst out laughing.
Let's talk about prices, at the end, for:
- 1 25cl beer
- 1 kir
- 2x glass of red wine from Roussillon
- 2x beef tartare
- a... "cheese plate"
Total: €77

The staff is friendly and the dishes, in addition to being affordable, are also very good.
The only downside is the service. If you arrive at noon sharp then it will be quick, otherwise be prepared to wait.
