We loved all the dishes, which were excellent, as well as the warm welcome and kindness of all the staff. All our wishes were fulfilled, which contributed to the success of our wedding. 19/05/2026: Set back from the street with its spectacular terrace and enormous rubber dome, the place is pleasant. The service was attentive and quite quick; we didn't have to wait. The aperitif was served promptly, and the courses arrived in quick succession. My partner found the fish excellent, while I opted for the Corsican menu. I enjoyed it, but I would have preferred prime cuts of lamb, as it was quite bony, even though the grilled flavor was delicious. We enjoyed the wine by the glass. Overall, we appreciated this unpretentious restaurant.

17/05/2026: We arrived by chance on a Monday evening, there were five of us. We were pleasantly surprised by the place, the food, and that memorable and generous fish soup! The waiter was also very kind. A small local digestif at the end of the meal would have been very welcome, however… In any case, I will definitely return on my next visit to Corsica. Don't hesitate for a second if you're passing through Ajaccio.

19/05/2026: Honestly, it's awful! The burgers were really terrible! Supposedly St. Nectaire cheese... but I have my doubts, and to top it all off, a Nutella waffle—well, without any real Nutella, so it's misleading—for over €7. A disgrace. Long live traditional/independent restaurants!

16/05/2026: The staff were welcoming, warm, and attentive. The dishes were cooked to perfection, and the ingredients were high quality. The restaurant is fantastic; it just needs some background music to complete the experience.

28/05/2026: Beautiful hotel, very beautiful room, Booked 3 nights, breakfast was great on the 1st day, breakfast was not replenished on the 2nd day, went for breakfast at 8:50, a lot was empty, no choice left of bread, salmon, yogurt, cheese, charcuterie, smoothies, everything was gone and empty, staff with 2 people could not replenish, at 9:45 everything was already being taken away That was really not right!! Shame

26/05/2026: An absolutely exceptional stay at this 4-star hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the unique atmosphere of the retreat area, a true haven of peace where time seems to stand still, as if the Earth had stopped turning for the duration of our stay. The staff, whoever they may be, are remarkably kind and professional. Each member of the team is incredibly attentive and dedicated to making the experience unforgettable. A special mention goes to the signature massage I received: by far the best massage I have ever had. A moment of absolute relaxation, perfectly executed, which alone is worth the trip. The restaurant at La Butte is also wonderful. The dishes are excellent, refined, and increasingly sophisticated, with true creativity in both flavors and presentation. Every meal was a genuine pleasure. Finally, the buffet breakfast is particularly generous and varied. It offers a wide selection of quality products, sure to satisfy both sweet and savory palates. An exceptional place that I recommend without hesitation and where we will gladly return.

07/05/2026: A wonderful place, full of history and memories. As a regular visitor, I often go there; the team is fantastic and professional. My only slight disappointment was the absence of Othmann, which was noticeable during my last visit. He usually takes care of us with professionalism and kindness, and I hope to see him again very soon.

07/05/2026: My wife and I visited last night, hoping to enjoy a nice dinner after the ballet was canceled. We were greeted quickly and sat outside. The gentleman that greeted us did not tell anyone else in the restaurant that we were outside, likely due to his flirting with another guest leaving the restaurant. This was disappointing, but I was hopeful that once another staff member came outside and saw us, we would begin to be served. Unfortunately, this was not the case. All in all, we waited about 20 minutes from when we were originally sat, to when we received menus. Another 20 minutes later, nobody had come back to us, so I went inside and asked if we could be sat inside. We were quickly seated, but had the same waitress assigned to us, unfortunately. She did finally come to take our order, but after placing it, we waited 15 minutes for her to bring our wine over. She did apologize for leaving us outside, and the slow service, but it did not improve. Once we received our wine, we watched as the tables on either side of us placed their orders, received their food, and finished their entire meal prior to the waitress realizing we had not received our food. Eventually, I made direct eye contact with our waitress and her jaw dropped as she seemed to realize while looking at me that we didn't have our food. She quickly looked away and ran to the kitchen. About 5 minutes later she brought our steaks out. All of this could have been forgivable, but our steaks were raw. There was some language barrier, and she did ask multiple times how we wanted our steaks cooked because as she said, "it will ruin your steak if we cook wrong". We both ordered medium rare, and corrected her twice when she said we wanted them rare. I understand there are different expectations on the cook of steaks, but it is all about temperature. Our steaks came blue, almost no pink, red only. A nice sear, but barely cooked inside. At this point we were extremely disappointed, and hungry. I think if we hadn't seen our waitress look over at us with the shocked expression and then run to the kitchen, we could have chalked it up to misunderstanding, but having seen that, combined with the poor service throughout, it seems much more likely that she forgot to put our order in, ran to kitchen, fired our steaks, and served them raw. She tried to insist that the steaks were cooked medium rare, until another waiter came over to ask what was wrong. He quickly agreed the steaks were not medium rare. We asked to pay for our wine and promptly left. Would have loved to rate the food, but considering we had none, I can only rate the service, which is the worst we've had in France.

15/06/2026: I gave it 5 stars to avoid damaging the owner's business, but in reality, there were several serious issues. I traveled exclusively in France for 40 days, but this was the first time the main course platter was served before the appetizer. Four dishes were laid out at once on a 45x45cm table (actually smaller than that) in an instant, and naturally, there wasn't enough space, including drinks. On top of that, the table was unbalanced and kept wobbling. I also have a lot to say about the waitress. During the mere hour or so we spent eating the appetizer, main course, and dessert, the waitress broke something twice. We were sitting right next to the cutlery sorting area, and she arranged the forks, knives, and spoons very carelessly, making a lot of noise. We visited at 3 PM, which is by no means a busy time, yet there were several behaviors that were incomprehensible. The owner is incredibly kind. However, the staff working under him act as if they are the owners themselves. I even happened to see it while paying on my way out; the kitchen staff were setting up the food while holding a phone in one hand. If this restaurant wants to continue improving, it seems some minor improvements are needed (although the food was still above average).

26/04/2026: The mussels and fries were very good and plentiful. The welcome and service were very pleasant.

25/04/2026: On a weekend trip to Perros, we arrived in the evening without a reservation and were seated immediately. The staff was welcoming. Breakfast was available the next morning on the terrace. I recommend it.
