30/08/2026: Disappointed with my visit. The service was lacking and the welcome was truly unpleasant. The raisin bread was completely undercooked. But above all, the hygiene was appalling: certain details I saw there really make me not want to return. It's a shame; I'll choose a different bakery next time.

10/10/2026: An unforgettable evening, a true gastronomic discovery! There are restaurants where you simply come for dinner, and others where you have a truly memorable experience. Palacio undoubtedly belongs to the latter category. As lovers of fine French cuisine, we thought we knew the great pleasures of its gastronomy. Yet, that evening, we were wonderfully surprised. To begin, a delicious duck foie gras, exquisitely delicate. Then came the true revelation of the evening: roast pigeon with a cognac sauce. A dish I probably would never have dared to order on my own, and which turned out to be absolutely exceptional. Flavorful meat, remarkably cooked, and a harmony of flavors I will long remember. And to finish in style, generous profiteroles, drizzled with hot chocolate and accompanied by almonds. A pure moment of indulgence! But beyond the food, what we'll remember is the pleasure of discovering authentic, generous cuisine, full of personality, and offered at a very reasonable price. At 65, after having frequented many restaurants, what a joy to still be surprised and delighted by a wonderful culinary discovery! A huge congratulations to the chef and the entire team. We came for dinner, and we're leaving with a wonderful memory. An address you absolutely must discover when visiting Lourdes. Thank you for this magnificent evening. We will be back!

24/09/2026: Outside the Lourdes crowds. Friendly service, tasty food, reasonable price: escargots, grenouilles, duck, foie gras. Top notch. Everything freshly cooked and not reheated vacuum-packed junk. That's how it should be. Better than the JRE Martin Comptoir semi-Michelin restaurant in Limoges. Top.

19/09/2026: We had a wonderful meal! From the appetizer to the dessert, everything was perfect! The dishes were beautifully prepared and presented, with the meat carved tableside and the crêpes flambéed right in front of us. And the staff were lovely! We'll be back!

I had the delicious octopus and, above all, the XXL profiterole, which I finished all by myself. It was of impeccable quality… I would even say that at 54, it's the first time I've ever eaten such a dessert. Bravo to the entire team!

01/06/2026: The atmosphere was straight out of an Agatha Christie film; we spent our entire stay wondering about the identity of the killer of Belle Isle-sur-Risle. We particularly enjoyed the pianist, the mirrors, and the very chic period decor. The hotel is filled with the scents of Normandy. The room was spacious, with a lovely bathroom and an exceptionally comfortable bed. We loved the outdoor pool and the spa. The hotel's surroundings are very pleasant, with a large garden and a particularly welcoming town with plenty of small shops. When will they film the mystery of Belle Isle-sur-Risle?!

08/09/2026: I called last night to reserve a table. The first time, the line went dead, so I called back, and after several attempts, I finally got through. A woman answered. I asked if I could reserve a table for two. She asked when, and after I told her the day, a man interrupted, mumbling words like "morning," and the connection was cut off. So I asked a friend of mine who speaks French to call because maybe the problem was my own. She also confirmed the rudeness, but she understood that reservations should be made in the morning. I wondered. If I'm asked when and what time I'd like to reserve, why do you take reservations in the morning, but above all, are you so rude and unfriendly? They don't have an email address, they don't call you back, and there are no alternative ways to take reservations. Obviously, I won't go, and before I even showed up, I understood the service. I'm sorry because it seemed excellent.
