15/08/2026: Just 20 meters from our Airbnb, it was a very pleasant experience. The quality of the ingredients, the cooking, the seasoning, the taste, the flavors, and the presentation—everything was perfect, the kind of food we (in my opinion) love. I adored the wild garlic salmon (see photo). Sorry, it was too good… you'll have to come back to try it.

25/06/2026: We choose from the 3 course set menu which had two options for each course. Between us we tried them all and they were delicious. The service was really friendly. It was our last night and we wish we had found the restaurant earlier so we could go back to try the A la Carte menu.

05/09/2026: I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant and I wasn't disappointed. The appetizer buffet was well-stocked. I ordered a hamburger with homemade fries and a salad. The meat was cooked perfectly, the hamburger was excellent, and the fries were also very good. For dessert, I chose the French toast with warm caramel and whipped cream: simply excellent! The welcome and the staff were very professional, friendly, and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant, both for the quality of its food and its warm atmosphere.

05/09/2026: We regularly eat at La Belle Aventure and are always delighted with our meal. The homemade cold buffet and the Chef's country pâté are a real treat. Not to mention the homemade desserts! We particularly appreciate the kindness and attentiveness of the staff, not to mention Chef Alexandre's passion for local and seasonal cuisine! We also regularly order their appetizer platters, which are always delicious and generous. It's a place we particularly love and recommend without hesitation!

05/09/2026: Nestled on a quiet side street in the 20th arrondissement, this restaurant boasts a charming and inviting terrace. The service is impeccable. The menu is varied and guaranteed "Homemade." It's well deserved; the dishes are flavorful and generous. The Iberian pluma is to die for, the black Angus is top-quality, and the duck breast is simply divine. The quality-price ratio is excellent. The wine list is well-chosen, allowing for sensible indulgence. Bravo and thank you to the entire team!

03/04/2026: We had a lovely meal here last night. Very welcoming staff got us seated and were well timed in coming back for a drinks order. We had three generations sitting and the menu catered well. The kids menu ticked all the boxes and was homemade through and through. The costs/fare in all these restaurants are very similar so maybe it was the friendly staff who made the difference for us 🤗 Would happily return. D

Everything here is fresh, seasonal, and homemade, and you can really taste it in every bite! 🥩🍔🍟 A big shout-out also to Claire Ma and Lionel, our server, for their warm welcome, kindness, and impeccable service. A lovely team that greatly contributes to the wonderful Savoyard atmosphere—friendly and welcoming. ❤️ And what can we say about the terrace? It's pleasant and sunny, giving you the feeling of being surrounded by nature even though you're right in the heart of the village… 🏔️☀️ Le Gros Cailloux is much more than a restaurant: it's a place where you eat well, feel good, and want to come back! 23/08/2026: A truly fantastic lunch! The food, service, and atmosphere were excellent! A set menu of starter, main course, and dessert for €20 with three choices for each course—exceptional value for money! We enjoyed our meal, had a pleasant chat with the owner, and will definitely return next time we're in Agen. The free gravel parking across the street is very convenient. Thank you!

13/09/2026: A great find at Uncle Sam's in Amiens! The portions are really generous and the presentation is very appealing. The hot dog was substantial, well-filled, and came with a generous amount of fries. The sausage and lentil dish was also beautifully presented and plentiful. We had a great time and will gladly return.

12/09/2026: I come back every time I stay! 😉 An idyllic spot on the boardwalk, facing the sea with magnificent sunsets! 🌅 The seafood platters are always remarkably fresh, and the delicately prepared fish is simply delicious… Special mention for the sole meunière, a real treat! And the little extra: after a delicious meal, what a pleasure to be able to rely on the shuttle to take us back comfortably to our hotel! A shuttle driven by Virginie, the sunshine of Deauville, even when the sky is a bit overcast! ☀️😉 Very professional, attentive, and always ready to help, Virginie also contributes to making the experience even more enjoyable!

07/09/2026: Since the arrival of the new manager, the service has become disastrous this year. The reception staff is arrogant, the portions are getting smaller and smaller, and the food is of mediocre quality. During our second-to-last dinner in July, there were constant oversights with forgotten dishes, and there was tension between the manager and his team. It's clear the team isn't working in a positive atmosphere, and this is noticeable in the dining room and with the other customers. We have an apartment in Deauville and used to come about ten times a year with great pleasure. This will be the last time! (You can check the reviews on my account; I rarely post bad reviews and I regularly dine at fine restaurants all over the world.)

21/12/2025: A really great way to do a trip back in time

17/11/2025: Medieval cuisine is certainly different from what we're used to eating today. Some dishes might, at first glance, seem a little bland, or at least not the kind of thing that would immediately make our mouths water, because our 21st-century palates are accustomed to tastes that are too sweet, too fatty, or too salty (clearly not the best for our health!). However, the kitchen team rose to this challenge brilliantly: each dish was perfectly seasoned, fragrant, and truly delicious. This made the culinary experience even more successful. The experience is further enhanced by the entertainment offered throughout the meal, as well as by the choice of costumes at the beginning, which immediately immerses us in the medieval atmosphere. We also greatly appreciated the intimate atmosphere of the restaurant, with only one seating at lunchtime: no constant coming and going, allowing us to fully enjoy the moment. A wonderful discovery that we highly recommend! Until next time!

05/09/2026: The owner is incredibly kind, even to children. The ingredients are top-quality, with an honorable mention for Le Pariesien, simple but very successful, with exceptional bread. The hotdog is less special (I would have preferred a German-style sausage), but it's still saved by the sauces. The fries are amazing.

30/08/2026: The owner gave us a very warm welcome. We ordered three pan bagnat sandwiches and thoroughly enjoyed them. They used only fresh ingredients, and the pan bagnat was generous and true to the original recipe. The prices were reasonable. If you're passing through town, this is a place to remember.
