16/04/2026: A restaurant that deserves to be better known. Forget the heels and dresses! Jeans and a t-shirt blend in perfectly with the decor. An original setting with pots and pans hanging from the ceiling and games available. It's a parade of flavors on the plate, a customizable appetizer platter. For us, it was the terrine, smoked sausage, and curried chickpeas, accompanied by a small glass of wine. This was just an amuse-bouche, but it already hinted at the amazing meal to come. The "crying tiger" main course made us do everything but cry! It was fantastic, and that's an understatement! To top it all off, an apple crumble with a scoop of ice cream—and once again, flawless! The owner is great, as is the music he plays. Come to this place; it's a must-try! It has nothing to envy from the best restaurants, because it's one of them! Thank you for this great time!

16/04/2026: Excellent place to enjoy local cuisine. The meat was tender and incredibly flavorful. The welcome and atmosphere are warm and very friendly. A few board games are available to enhance your evening. I'm thrilled with this discovery!

30/04/2026: Passing through the area, we discovered this restaurant and received a warm welcome. The waitress was very attentive and pleasant; you can tell she loves her job. As for the food, everything was delicious from the appetizers to the desserts. Kudos to the chef and his team! A highly recommended place if you're ever in the area.

10/04/2026: How can I not work? Oh, I don't have a table in the shade anymore, even though I do. But you're in a hurry because there are long waits, you have to order quick meals, and even worse, oh, I advise you to go to Aniane. It's a joke. They complain when it rains, and when the weather is nice, they don't want to work.

03/04/2026: I just discovered this restaurant thanks to my aunt, who's a regular. I highly recommend it if you want to have a pleasant time, both in terms of atmosphere and food. The owner is very welcoming and friendly; she takes good care of her customers, and her cooking is perfect because it's homemade. Well done!

03/05/2026: This has nothing to do with Mauritian cuisine anymore. It's become just another run-of-the-mill brasserie with a wide selection, sure, but it's clearly not homemade. The staff are friendly, but the food is bland. Nothing special... What a shame. And lots of mistakes with the drinks and coffee orders... Anyway...

13/04/2026: Incredible restaurant. Like every year, we have lunch at Le Vieux Four, and like every year, we have a wonderful meal. The cuisine is refined and exquisite. The ingredients are always of impeccable quality. The service is always pleasant. If you're passing through Le Vignon-en-Quercy, don't hesitate for a second to stop at Le Vieux Four.

31/03/2026: Very friendly service. All tables were occupied at lunchtime. The menu du jour was plentiful, creative, and tasty, and very good value for €21.

18/03/2026: Thank you Anaïs, who is taking her CAP (vocational qualification) this year! The meat was cooked perfectly, the service was excellent, and the homemade fries were superb! We greeted the chef who came to our table to praise his cooking; congratulations, everything on your dishes is delicious!

27/03/2026: Excellent! Although we're from Tarbes, we hadn't been back to this restaurant for at least 20 years… Very indulgent—it lives up to its name—and very pleasant! Rich and hearty dishes made with very fresh, local ingredients. A good selection of local wines, especially if you like Madiran. Delicious desserts without being too sweet. In short: go!

18/08/2025: A very nice place where we found some respite from the heat yesterday, a small but perfect menu, excellent value for money...for me, the mussels and fries 🇫🇷🍟😊😊😊. However, just one small drawback...for aperitifs, few or no restaurants offer them, but a few peanuts or crisps wouldn't hurt...and above all, they cost next to nothing.... Otherwise, perfect...you've lost the 5/5

22/03/2026: Discovered this place at lunchtime today, the menu is better than that of a wine cellar in the same village, the food is excellent in both quality and quantity, and the prices are very reasonable. I will definitely return.
