21/07/2026: To be perfectly honest, I expected much better. The prices are high for the dishes, desserts, and drinks offered. I eat out a lot for work, and I have to say that the prices aren't justified. As for the service, there are a few things that need improvement. First of all, a smile! It doesn't cost anything! Also, when taking your order, it would be helpful to mention that sauces are extra; this would avoid surprises on the bill (it's barely acceptable). Furthermore, having three different people serving you is bound to cause mistakes! It's inevitable! There was an error with the aperitif, which was difficult to correct quickly and, what's more, we were charged twice (checking the bill carefully is important). Then, I ordered a second glass of wine. The waiter forgot about it in the meantime, and I had to ask twice, and two different people each time. Better organization is needed! And I suspected there would be a billing error, it was inevitable! Anyway! Nothing special in terms of taste, service needs improvement and prices are high (let's not kid ourselves).

21/07/2026: Wow! What a fantastic restaurant! The best sirloin steak I've ever eaten ♥️ a delicious steak tartare as a starter and an amazing dessert! And all that with a beautiful view! Highly recommended! We will definitely be back here!

06/08/2026: I received a gift voucher for brunch and a private beach at your establishment and came with my two daughters and one of their partners. I thoroughly enjoyed your restaurant, the welcome, your staff, and the brunch. I would definitely recommend it. I was less impressed with the private beach; it was quite noisy, with people on their phones talking very loudly, and access to the water was difficult for me.

06/08/2026: A magnificent setting, a warm welcome, and delicious food… a truly precious experience. We went for brunch at Le Beau Site restaurant for the first time on the last Sunday of July. We were amazed by the sheer number of dishes on offer: sweet and savory, with a variety of flavors, both traditional and original—enough to delight the palate and satisfy the curiosity of any gourmet. Then we discovered the "cave" of desserts… absolutely divine! A word of advice: ask for very small portions to fully appreciate the flavors. Don't waste any; there's enough for everyone, and you can come back again and again! Kudos to the chefs, Corinne and François, and their friendly and professional team!

26/07/2026: We stumbled upon this place by chance during a motorcycle ride, and the weather forced us to stop at this establishment. A warm welcome, excellent cuisine, beautifully presented dishes, and very reasonable prices. In short, a must-visit for a truly delightful culinary experience!

03/08/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant while passing through Étretat. The food was excellent and plentiful. Whether it was the fish or the meat, everything was superb. The staff was pleasant and very friendly. Despite the crowds on a busy day, the service remained efficient and we had a great experience at this restaurant. Highly recommended!

06/08/2026: A bit disappointed, considering what we'd heard and read! The starter was a hard-boiled egg cut in half with mayonnaise (from a tube? 🤔) and two lettuce leaves. The main course was quite minimalist: three spoonfuls of vegetables and three pieces of grilled chicken breast. Only the mirabelle plum tart for dessert managed to redeem the meal 😯 The quality, quantity, and price ratio is very unbalanced 😕! Perhaps the bouchot mussel season would warrant an overall five-star rating?

My deepest sympathies go out to you for this tragedy that has just occurred. Thierry, you will manage to honor your commitments. You have incredible resilience and boundless determination. We will always be there as soon as possible and twice as often. Keep that in mind; your loyal customers are there for you.

27/06/2026: Stay as part of the Gourmet Passport 67 program. A very comprehensive offer for the price, a very welcoming owner, and an incredibly peaceful period, so we really enjoyed the tranquility of the place! The breakfast was truly amazing, highly recommended!! We've already recommended it to our friends and family, who visited the following month and were equally delighted with the peace and quiet! Some renovations were underway; perhaps the jacuzzi next to the pool at Donon is still under consideration? But the priority remains the fire damage repairs 🙏🏻 We have no doubt that Vellada will rise again, given the owner's investment. We'll be back as soon as possible ☺️
