15/09/2024: Not too many emotions, nice hostel, quality dishes, but you can find all this almost everywhere, the negative note which spoils everything are the prices, in my opinion exorbitant and unjustified for certain dishes, we paid 65€ per person with a bottle of first-price wine at €22.
to avoid if you are good eaters.

I arrived late in Rennes, and what a surprise to discover a neighborhood bar open until 1 a.m. on a Monday night right across the street from my Airbnb. Unexpected!
Awesome welcome from Émilie (Jolie) ❤️, who offered to look after my bags. We had some great conversations, a really great atmosphere, and a warm welcome from the regulars.
Special mention for the beauty of the place!

They helped us out with our evening meal. With a smile.
It's nice to meet such kind, helpful, and caring people.

10/12/2025: Disappointed, we received a cold welcome despite having booked the day before. The fries were industrially produced, which was a shame, and the chicken fillet with Maroilles cheese was bland—where were the flavors? The whipped cream was like soup. The waiter left before we'd even finished ordering. And at the end, they didn't even ask if everything was alright. We don't understand all the positive reviews. We won't be repeating the experience.

I've been several times and I always return with great pleasure.
It's a pleasure to enjoy simple yet delicious dishes. The service is impeccable and the bill is reasonable.

05/11/2025: This local restaurant, run by an elderly couple, has earned a Michelin star. It was packed, and I was the only foreign tourist, a true local. The menu was only in French, but the elderly couple kindly explained it to me in English, which was nice. The food was absolutely delicious. I'd love to come back next time I'm in Paris. I definitely recommend making a reservation.
