29/04/2026: A restaurant not to be missed if you're passing through Thouars. Excellent cuisine, the monkfish with vanilla sauce was exceptional, and the meal was superb from start to finish. The waitress was also very friendly. ☺️

07/03/2026: Appalling! At 8:55 pm on a Saturday night, it was impossible to get a meal (there were two of us) because service had ended. The staff were incredibly unfriendly in telling us this.
So, if you live like a chicken, you can eat there; otherwise, if you live like a busy person with a full schedule, steer clear.

16/04/2026: After a short morning, we stopped at Chez Claudette for a bite to eat, and frankly, we weren't disappointed.
The welcome was warm, and the interior is very cozy and beautifully decorated.
I had a Caesar salad with a bowl of fries, and my father had a breaded veal cutlet; we thoroughly enjoyed it.
The value for money is excellent, especially since everything is homemade!
We'll definitely be back.
20/03/2026: Delighted with our dinner at Claudette's. The waitresses were very pleasant, the dish arrived very quickly and, above all, was delicious! A very good restaurant, we recommend it 100%. Well done!

07/05/2026: I had four medium-sized oysters and a glass of white wine, and it only came out to 10 euros! Amazing. I highly recommend it.
However, they didn't accept cards, so make sure to bring cash!

21/04/2026: Excellent concept, dishes bursting with color and flavor, a feast for the eyes and the palate.
It's just a shame that there are so few tables for two, and they're not located in the most pleasant spots. (A table for four shared 2/2 would be perfect 👌).
Nevertheless, an excellent experience.
