24/07/2026: A charming restaurant tucked away on a side street with gourmet menus. The service was a bit slow, but there were plenty of tables and quite a few regulars. The daily special was good. However, the main course was a little salty; you don't realize it while eating it, but you felt thirsty all afternoon, despite drinking two bottles of water during lunch for two! The wine list by the glass could be a bit limited considering the gourmet menus and the clientele (who are wine connoisseurs).

26/07/2026: We had a lovely time, a very warm welcome, a pleasant setting, and we ate very well. The only slight drawback was the service being a little too fast; the dishes we ordered arrived almost at the same time as our aperitifs. But overall, a really good place.

30/07/2026: A wonderful discovery! Reservations are highly recommended. We didn't have any, but a member of the management very kindly informed us that a table would become available after about ten minutes. We were so glad we waited! The cocktails, main courses, and desserts were excellent. The decor, tableware, and ambiance are simply magnificent, giving a true sense of stepping back in time to an authentic Alsatian atmosphere. We dined on the lovely terrace. The atmosphere was calm and quiet, allowing for relaxed conversation. The staff was incredibly attentive, offering excellent suggestions and valuable advice throughout the meal. The only slight drawback concerns customers who smoke on the terrace. It's a shame that some don't consider the discomfort the smoke can cause to those seated nearby. An address we wholeheartedly recommend!

26/07/2026: Excellent Alsatian cuisine; you can immediately taste the homemade quality. The tarte flambée was delicious and easy to digest (the small one is perfect for two). I also loved the flavorful and beautifully presented desserts. The place has the charm of old Alsatian houses. Top-notch service. In short, I'll definitely be back to try other specialties.

15/08/2026: My friend and I came, having booked through TheFork. At first, everything was fine; the food was quite good. Towards the end of the meal, no one came to see us for a while (which I completely understand, as there were things to do), so I tried to catch the eye of the man in charge of the restaurant (probably the manager, I don't know, he was alone). He approached our table and stared at me, which I interpreted, and which anyone would have interpreted, as "I'm listening." So I said, word for word, "Excuse me, would it be possible to have a doggy bag and the bill, please?" to which he replied, "You can see I'm busy; you don't have to interrupt me. I'll come see you when I'm available," in a most unpleasant tone, practically shouting at me in front of the other customers. I was shocked to be spoken to like that in a restaurant, especially since I was very polite and pleasant when I addressed him. A simple "I'll just finish this and be right back" would have sufficed. Finally, it was time to pay. We had the 50% discount from TheFork. I had checked the accepted payment methods on the app beforehand, which included the restaurant card. So I asked to pay €25 with this card, to which the man replied, "Well, I'm already giving you the app discount; I'm not going to take your restaurant voucher card on top of that, it costs me €1." I offered to pay this fee in cash, and he replied, "It doesn't work like that. I won't take your card; you pay normally," in such an unpleasant and aggressive tone that all the other customers were turning to watch what was happening. I had to leave the restaurant quickly because the experience truly shocked me. I don't understand how anyone can treat people like that. My advice: if you're with friends or children, don't go here. His behavior is unacceptable.
