18/12/2024: So the restaurant of eggs friends: a unique menu for 29 euros in which you have 8 different starters (and when I say 8 it's 8 and not 1 to choose between the 8 😶), then a main (an andouillette for my part which was very good, then a choice of 3 cheeses and to finish with unlimited dessert on rice pudding AND floating island AND crème caramel AND pear in wine AND prunes in syrup (I said AND and not OR friends 🤩). All this is served in a good mood. In short, here is the exact image I had of a Lyonnais cork. Well done to all of you guys in the dining room and in the kitchen.

11/07/2025: An excellent and very fresh pea gazpacho, a little disappointed with the waterzoi (the vegetables were a little undercooked and the seasoning was a little lacking). Staff were always smiling. Service was a little slow.

12/12/2024: I went there this afternoon. I could say that the cuisine is balanced, generous and delicious. I could say that the welcome is warm and friendly. With the sun and the view on the terrace it was a very pleasant bubble. even if all of this is true, I just want to say go for it!

29/11/2025: STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! My partner and I booked this restaurant expecting to find an elegant atmosphere, respectful staff, and a level of hospitality befitting a Michelin-starred establishment. Unfortunately, the reality was completely the opposite. We were literally turned away, rudely and humiliatingly, simply for asking to order only one dish each from the à la carte menu. According to the restaurant's "internal rules"—which, of course, are nowhere to be found on their website or The Fork—you are required to order either an appetizer + first course or a first course + dessert. This rule was imposed and enforced arrogantly, with no intention of finding a solution. To make matters worse, the owner herself, instead of clarifying the situation professionally, decided to raise her voice and boast that "she makes the rules, whenever she wants." This was aggressive, disrespectful, and completely out of place, especially considering that the problem stemmed simply from the fact that, not finding any other dishes we liked, we wanted to order only two—a completely normal choice in a restaurant offering an a la carte menu. We had never been treated with such rudeness and arrogance, let alone kicked out of a restaurant, let alone a Michelin-starred one. We left feeling bitter, disappointed, and genuinely shocked.

29/11/2025: The most frustrating restaurant experience I’ve ever had. I booked this restaurant through TheFork, where a specific menu was clearly displayed. When we arrived, we were given a completely different menu — none of the listed dishes were available, and almost every option contained mushrooms. We don’t eat mushrooms, and the staff told us they could not remove a single ingredient from any dish. So we ordered the only two options left. That’s when things became unbelievable. The owner suddenly told us that we were “required” to order two dishes per person. When we asked where this rule was written, she said she decides when and to whom the rule applies, simply because “it’s her place”. When we calmly tried to explain our situation, she literally shushed us, putting her finger to her mouth and laughing at us in front of her entire staff. It was humiliating and completely unprofessional. Then she invented another rule on the spot: unless we ordered two dishes each, we would have to pay an extra £15 per person. This “fee” is not written anywhere, AND SHE AGREED THAT — not on the menu, not on the website, not on the booking confirmation. Moments later, she kicked us out of the restaurant in the most disrespectful way, in front of everyone. Not surprisingly, this was also the only empty restaurant in the entire Colmar. Avoid this place at all costs. Misleading, rude, unprofessional, and genuinely the worst dining experiences I’ve had in years.

08/07/2025: Good food but quite expensive, except for the daily special. Very noisy. Good welcome and service, but sometimes lacking a few smiles.

30/06/2025: A friendly setting with a superb terrace. We dined at this restaurant twice. The staff is lovely, from the welcome to the service (we had a great server who always had a smile from start to finish; we'll bring him a mini fan the next time we come ;) The food was delicious. We had a great time. I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good meal in a very friendly setting.

08/12/2025: We came as a group of four on Saturday evening. When I read the previous comment, it immediately struck me because we didn't receive the same service… The waitress who looked after us was professional, smiling, and funny! So yes, the €37 set menu is offered and not "imposed," but you can choose dishes from the à la carte menu, which is what we did! Furthermore, we received excellent wine recommendations, which we loved! So, kudos to the team, who were short-staffed that evening; we had a wonderful meal! A bill of €260 for four people for a great time is definitely worth it!

08/12/2025: Efficient and quick service. The dish (chicken curry stir-fry) was served piping hot, and there was no wait, which was much appreciated. The presentation of the brownie (more of a soft cake, actually) could be improved. Minimalist decor. The chef cooks right in front of you in the open kitchen. It's a bit noisy because it's small, but honestly, a convenient and friendly place. Small sidewalk terrace.

10/12/2024: Wonderful sunday lunch with great service. Generous portions. The civet de cerf, venison with a morille mushroom sauce, was fabulous, as were the pork ribs. Excellent cheese as well.

28/11/2024: Dans une carte très appétissante nous avons choisi le foie gras maison : délicieux ! Frais et fondant comme il faut. On a continué avec l’agneau et une assiette de fromages accompagnée d’une salade craquante : nous n’avons pas été déçus. Le goût et la qualité sont au rendez-vous dans cet établissement. Difficile de lui trouver un défaut. Le cadre est agréable, l’accueil est chaleureux et professionnel. 20/20 !

29/11/2024: We were absolutely thrilled - and went there twice in 4 days! Extremely cozy, totally friendly, on the second evening the lovable boss rushed around us - his beef bourguignon was just as delicious as our duck leg. Changing cuisine, ask, get recommended, enjoy! I'm in love with shock - like "Paris used to be"❤️ The 1/2 bottle of red wine (I had a very fruity Tourraine wine) is generously measured according to what you took from the (full) bottle 😂 - 10 stars!

20/09/2024: I came to eat at the restaurant and ordered “the dish of the day for 19 euros”: a fish dish which, unfortunately, arrived cold. This was not a problem, given the crowds. However, the fish was raw inside. I opened the fish to show it and they kindly offered to change the dish. When the new dish arrived, there was only one piece of fish instead of two. The manager then insisted, calling me a liar. It was an unpleasant situation. However, I would like to point out that Mael, our server, was very friendly and attentive throughout the service, which encourages us to give the restaurant another chance.

22/11/2025: This restaurant is very warm and cozy. The dishes are beautifully presented and full of flavor. The tastes were incredible, a real treat! However, the desserts were a real disappointment. The lukewarm chocolate mousse was really just a small scoop of ice cream covered with a little chocolate, and it cost €11! Absolutely outrageous. As for the fig dessert, it was really not good at all. The dessert prices are exorbitant for what they are! What a shame.

09/11/2025: What a delightful surprise! The place is cozy and the restaurant staff are very welcoming with a warm atmosphere. The menu includes the essentials without being overwhelming with a multitude of options, which is reassuring. The wine list is remarkably well-stocked with prices for both dining in and takeaway. The children's menu features fresh fish or a fresh hamburger! We, on the other hand, were immediately captivated by the presentation of the perfect egg and the octopus as soon as our plates arrived. And the taste was even better. The kiwi guacamole pairs perfectly with the superb octopus, and the perfect egg has an incredible velvety texture. The other dishes arrive on hot plates, also beautifully presented. The beef cheek is strikingly delicate, with all the flavors carefully considered, and a special mention goes to the corn, which tantalizes the taste buds. The trout fillet with its green curry is also a magnificent culinary experience, where all the flavors are distinct and perfectly balanced. We had a wonderful time, thank you so much! We will definitely be back!!
