It had been 10 years since I'd last been to this establishment. We went there because it was the only decent restaurant open nearby for lunch during the holiday season!!! I find that appalling!
But we were glad we did. The snail was small, but good.
The value for money is excellent.
12/12/2025: An unbeatable restaurant in Amiens; the menus are simple but very generous and delicious. I highly recommend it.

07/02/2026: Absolutely fantastic! The owner's a bit of a goofball, but no big deal! As long as he serves non-Basques! Marie in the kitchen is an artist! You have to book a table, but be warned, you never know when you'll leave!!!

The staff was friendly, there were restrooms, the atmosphere was relaxed, the homemade food was original, and the decor was natural with mismatched chairs. Don't hesitate to go in; you'll want to come back. There are a few tables set up outside, which is lovely.

18/12/2025: Papill' is a private self-service concept, offering 4 to 5 daily choices of traditional main courses with various side dishes, and a system for depositing starters and desserts. It's delicious, it's hearty, it's fast—look no further, it's the best "canteen" around! 😉 And one day, we all hope the chef will revive the "Karius" concept; burger fans in Nantes will know exactly what they're getting into by that name. 😉
