07/08/2026: We spent two nights at Le Gautard on a half-board basis. A very pleasant stay. Away from the hustle and bustle of the larger establishments on the plateau, this house is smaller (3 bedrooms), which is a welcome change. Absolute peace and quiet, a very warm welcome. Lovely conversation with the owner. Very generous meals and breakfasts, perfect for hiking. Thank you again for the hospitality.

09/08/2026: When we arrived, the restaurant was packed and fully booked. We don't speak French, but one of the servers noticed our difficulty and welcomed us in anyway. The staff was incredibly kind, and the food was amazing—which explains why the place was so busy. Highly recommend. I had the duck and my girlfriend had the fish; both were wonderful. 03/08/2026: Very warm welcome, the golf course is magnificent, the restaurant is quite good and has a terrace overlooking the flower-filled golf course and a small river, etc. 👌

14/03/2026: The staff are very pleasant, the restaurant's cuisine is high quality and affordable. The dining room is tastefully decorated, and the fireplace is a nice touch – perfect after a good day of skiing.

05/04/2026: The room and bathroom were tiny. The service was appalling: there was one bed missing from our reservation, and the double bed we had booked was converted into twin beds. This twin bed was then added to the room: a sort of narrow camp bed, and we realized upon returning in the middle of the night that it only had a fitted sheet and a blanket. No top sheet or duvet cover. It was disgusting. The cleaning was poor. The noise from the planes completed the experience. At €100 a night, it's a rip-off.

21/06/2026: Without a doubt, one of the best culinary experiences I've had lately! This restaurant, which has a slightly pretentious name if you don't know the chef is Mr. Disavow, is well worth the detour and is undoubtedly a worthy contender for a Michelin star. We had an exceptional time with the tasting menu, where everything was pure finesse and inventiveness, perfect pairings, and flawless execution. I give it 6 out of 5 for the quality of the dishes, and another 5 for the service and welcome, and unfortunately only 4 for the setting, which is very pleasant, but located on the edge of a busy and noisy road, which is a bit of a nuisance, especially at the beginning of dinner. I was told as we were leaving, while I was regretting this inconvenience, that I should have requested table 20 when making the reservation. Shh, it's an insider secret! In any case, the average of 6 + 5 + 4 equals... 5 out of 5! Thank you, Chef, for this exceptional moment in the company of your incredibly talented dishes!

28/06/2026: We arrived around 7 p.m., and the restaurant was practically empty. I ordered a passion fruit mojito, but I received a regular mojito, even though the passion fruit version is more expensive. At the time of our meal, we also asked for a pitcher of water, which never arrived. My partner asked for a sauce with her fries, but she never received that either. Despite these service oversights, the meal was good overall.

21/06/2026: We stopped by on holiday to eat for the Fête de la Musique! Excellent welcome and great atmosphere with generous and delicious food! Thank you for this wonderful experience where, even as tourists, we received such a warm welcome.

11/06/2026: Wow. What a wonderful dinner we just experienced at this little restaurant. Reservations are a must as even on a Thursday night the restaurant was full and many were turned away. The menu is entirely on a chalk board and changes daily and tonight through the dinner as dishes sold out. I had the most delightful and delicious pork filet minion in a gorgonzola sauce which was likely the best meal I've had in my 3 weeks in France. There is plenty of parking in the town but don't expect to snag a spot in front of the restaurant, which allows you to take a short walk to settle your meal afterwards. Bravo to the chef and staff.

26/04/2026: A very rich breakfast, especially by Parisian standards. Nothing was missing. The staff was helpful and friendly. The rooms were fine, each with a separate entrance. Warm.

21/04/2026: An absolutely perfect stay from beginning to end. The welcome was warm, with an attentive and always available team who were never intrusive. The room was spotless, spacious, and impeccably comfortable. The breakfast was varied and generous, with fresh and delicious products. It's exactly the kind of place you want to return to without hesitation.

27/07/2026: Terrible service with far too long a wait. No staff on a Saturday night. And they kept asking for the menu, which we hadn't even bothered to order from. We ordered sorbets for dessert (a simple dessert straight from the freezer), which we waited for but never received, etc., so we left the restaurant. The waitress had a mocking smile and offered no apology. We were very disappointed.

19/07/2026: To eat beef bourguignon while in Bourgogne is something else. You'd think the chef at La Chambolle was a vampire, having had hundreds of years to perfect the dish. It was insanely hot in France on this day, but this traditional French dinner made us forget the weather. Great folks, great food, extremely authentic in every way.
