31/05/2026: The sales staff are always very pleasant. I'm a big fan of the balanced baguette. The bread is always crusty, never soggy. The Easter chocolates we gave as gifts were all very much appreciated.

24/05/2026: I came in the morning for a café crème. Unfortunately, they didn't have any croissants, but they kindly let me grab one from the bakery around the corner. The staff were incredibly friendly, as evidenced by the many regular customers. Bring a newspaper or a good book and relax...

19/05/2026: Caution. There are two Orient Express restaurants located directly opposite each other. We went to the one called "Poulet Braise." We checked their website beforehand and chose our dishes. Of course, we ended up at the one whose menu wasn't valid. A shame. But we still found something on the menu of that restaurant. The portions were generous and good. The service was also friendly and helpful. Full marks. The ambiance could use a bit more style. Very good value for money. It would be great if the owner could clarify things on Google beforehand.

10/05/2026: The meat was cooked perfectly and was delicious, the fries were perfectly crispy, the salad wasn't dry and was incredibly tasty, the drinks were super cold, and the welcome was fantastic – it was a delight! 😋

22/03/2026: First time and definitely not the last! There were 10 of us. We received a very warm welcome. The staff were very friendly, and the apprentice was also very cheerful. The meal was delicious and beautifully presented; I highly recommend it. Aperitifs, a full meal, and a digestif were all at very reasonable prices.

15/05/2026: An authentic gem in the heart of the village! We had an absolutely delightful time at La Fontaine St Jean. It's the perfect place for those looking for genuine, local, and generous cuisine. What we loved: • Delicious, local cuisine: From appetizer to dessert, everything is expertly prepared. The homemade terrine is excellent, and the leg of lamb is melt-in-your-mouth tender. You can taste the quality of the local Picardy produce in every dish. • Perfect for families: It's rare enough to be worth mentioning, but this establishment is truly kid-friendly. Between the high-quality children's menu (finally, real breaded chicken pieces and homemade fries!) and the crayons provided on the "treasure map" placemats, the little ones are thrilled. • A charming setting: The restaurant is a magnificent stone building with green shutters, typical and welcoming. Inside, the "Bistrot de Pays" atmosphere is warm and inviting, with friendly and attentive service. • The sweet touch: Don't leave without trying the homemade ice cream (special mention for the very generous homemade whipped cream!). In short: a friendly welcome, very reasonable prices for the quality (set menus on the chalkboard), and delicious food. We'll definitely be back!

19/05/2026: A wonderful time at Café Terminus! The welcome is warm, the staff are always smiling and attentive, which is truly delightful. The dishes are generous, well-prepared, and delicious, with excellent value for money. The atmosphere is friendly and pleasant, ideal for sharing a meal or simply enjoying a coffee in peace and quiet. A must-visit in Saint-Leu-la-Forêt that I wholeheartedly recommend. I will definitely be back!

06/05/2026: We only had two beers, but the welcome and service were excellent, and I think it was the best view from a restroom I've ever seen. One thing is for sure: we'll be back to eat there. And we have. We ate there this winter in February and have no regrets. It was very good and plentiful, and the service was friendly despite the crowd. We'll definitely go back.

16/05/2026: A fantastic place and a wonderful discovery. The setting is lovely, the staff are friendly and welcoming, and the food is absolutely delicious. The meat was excellent and perfectly cooked, the starter was fresh and flavorful, and the desserts were generous (perhaps a little too generous after a starter and main course). The wines are also very good. I'll definitely be back. A nice touch is the fun menu; it really brings a cheerful atmosphere to the table. Thank you! ☺️

24/06/2026: I was very disappointed with the dish I ordered (prawn wok): four tiny prawns with very little pasta and a few zucchini/mushrooms, and it was very oily. The portion was minuscule and I finished it in four bites. I left feeling hungry. A complete rip-off.
