22/02/2026: I won't hide our disappointment. Alice's Counters advertises raclette on Facebook. We came specifically for it. We were told there's nothing available at lunchtime. Yet the posts clearly state that it's available every weekend until the end of February. It seems to me that this is a real rip-off. Furthermore, they offer crepes. And we were told they don't have any on weekends. What more can I say? Well, nothing. Be careful not to get scammed.

13/02/2026: We come from time to time, and our taste buds are always pleasantly surprised and delighted. The service and the friendliness of the staff are second to none. It rivals any restaurant in Clermont-Ferrand. A must-try.

22/01/2026: A truly excellent restaurant, offering refined cuisine made with very local produce and a daily menu with original flavors. For €20, you get a choice of two starters, a main course of slow-cooked meat (often lamb, which is rare in restaurants) with beautifully presented fresh vegetables and frequently a touch of fruit, all prepared in a tagine style. It's always a delight. And at least two desserts to choose from. Whenever I go alone, I can always get a table, even if it means a short wait. In the summer, there are tables in the shaded courtyard. A real pleasure!

17/02/2026: Excellent welcome despite our late arrival. A wonderful culinary experience. Everything is homemade. The flavors are amazing. I'm very picky, yet I was completely swept away by this shared taste experience. I highly recommend it.

25/02/2026: This is my favorite restaurant when I'm on vacation in the Vendée region. I have a place there, and every summer it's become a must-visit. I always go several times during my stay! Each visit is a real treat. The dishes are delicious, well-prepared, and the quality is consistently excellent. You can feel the dedication and commitment in the kitchen. The atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming, which makes the experience even more special during your vacation. A true gem that I highly recommend!

Thank you for lending us the hat ☺️ The terrace is very pleasant, the service is impeccable, and the friendliness is much appreciated. The food was delicious and generous 😋. The only slight drawback is the price, which seems a little high to me, but with such a view, I suppose it's justified. Thank you for this very pleasant moment for us and for our little dog, who enjoyed her bowl of fresh water.

15/03/2026: Everything was perfect, from the service to the plated food. Having come as a family for a birthday, I was amazed by the service, the presentation, and the sumptuous taste of the food, prepared with care and delicacy.

14/03/2026: The photos of major and minor celebrities on the walls suggest that if you are not in such a category then perhaps you shouldn’t be there. From the moment we walked in the staff made us feel that we had done something wrong. Walk in and wait for someone to greet us? Glare at us like we’ve interrupted their day. Seated at the wrong table? Chastise the guests for the error. The food was disappointing. A shadow of what makes traditional brasserie fare the iconic cuisine it can be. The veal kidneys were served in a heavy sauce that reminded me of British food from the 1970s. A lava cake that one could have at a mediocre chain in the USA? S’il vous plait, non. And the atmosphere? Meh. A wobbly table suggested they are not paying attention to details. And the poor waiter handling more covers than is reasonable didn’t help matters. We were told La Chope is a mandatory stop in Rennes. Maybe for BHL but not for a person who wants a good dining experience.

16/01/2026: Stopping in for lunch with friends, we discovered this little restaurant, a warm welcome, and exquisite cuisine. You can really taste the chef's passion, which delighted our palates. We opted for the set menu. For starters, a crème catalane with foie gras—absolutely divine! The main course was a generous ribeye steak with a perfectly balanced honey sauce—simply perfect! Thank you for this wonderful experience.
