15/07/2026: This steakhouse is genuinely good. We ordered a ribeye steak to share, and it was cooked exactly as we asked—very tender and flavorful. A small suggestion: instead of the fries that came with it, perhaps small potatoes would be better, but it didn't detract from the excellent steak. Good wine recommendations and friendly service.

02/07/2026: Three of us for dinner on a weekday evening. Recommended by a local. We had reserved a table, there were 20 other diners and just one charming hard working gentleman filling the combined chef/maitre d'/ every other role. A well chosen fresh produce menu: 4 sarters, 6 mains and 4 deserts. All expertly prepared judging by customers reactions! A good reasonably priced wine list, beer on draft, water on the table, bread etc etc. A cracking local establishment without the flummeries associated with the inner city. Only 10 minutes walk from Hoche metro. We would travel across the city to eat there again.

01/08/2026: A truly wonderful discovery! The €40 menu offered us a delightful culinary experience, from the amuse-bouche to the petit fours! There was a great deal of creativity throughout our courses, such as the perfectly cooked red mullet paired with beetroot and strawberry, or the house classic for dessert: praline soufflé with peach sorbet, a perfect hot-and-cold combination. A feast for the eyes and the palate! The staff, despite being very busy, were incredibly attentive. A fine wine list, curated by a sommelier with excellent recommendations. In short, a very good restaurant, orchestrated by a young chef who shares his passion for fine cuisine, and with a promising future. I will definitely return to Le Chardonnay on my next trip to Clermont-Ferrand.

31/07/2026: When the gray skies cast a pall over the start of a visit, LE CHARDONNAY is a beacon of hope. The welcome and service are warm and friendly, and while the lunch menu is a set menu, it's excellent (green bean salad with tomato toast and fresh anchovies, veal onglet with potato cake, and a superb lemon-verbena mille-feuille). Bravo! Special mention goes to the decor, particularly the large, tastefully furnished curved bookcase. This restaurant is featured in the MICHELIN Green Guide, and deservedly so.

Whether you come as a couple (or a group of five 😉), the welcome is warm and pleasant, and the cuisine is always a delight, both visually and gastronomically! We highly recommend this restaurant, especially since the value for money is, in our opinion, unbeatable!! Bravo to the chef and his team in the kitchen and dining room!

16/07/2026: A beautiful restaurant at the entrance to Briançon. The dining room is simply decorated but very tastefully. The tables are spaced far apart, creating an intimate atmosphere. The service and welcome are top-notch! The dishes have bold flavors and are revisited to perfection (tomato and mozzarella appetizer), and what can I say about the cigar-shaped dessert? The only way to appreciate the quality of this dessert is to taste it!

05/07/2026: A superb culinary discovery! The dishes served at Le Péché Gourmand are exquisitely refined. The cooking is perfectly executed, the flavors are just right and worthy of a truly exceptional restaurant. It's a flawless experience in the kitchen, with a level of gastronomy that delights the palate. The only area for improvement concerns the dining room. The decor and overall atmosphere unfortunately don't quite match the excellence of the food. A slightly more refined and welcoming setting would further enhance the remarkable work done in the kitchen. Nevertheless, I highly recommend this restaurant for the exceptional quality of the meal, which is well worth the trip.

16/08/2026: The terrace was breezy and very pleasant. Dogs are welcome, and the waiter quickly brought us a bowl of water (thank you, that was lovely). The mussels and fries were delicious (we're from the north, so we know what we're talking about ;)), generously portioned, and the fries were HOMEMADE (that's rare!). The waiters were very welcoming, thank you so much!!

16/08/2026: My partner and I chose the grilled octopus with parsley sauce, mashed potatoes, and vegetables... I highly recommend it, perfectly cooked like everything else! A nice little bonus... a complimentary dispenser... kudos again to the chef!

14/06/2026: An incredible stay. The entire team, without exception, took excellent care of us and our 8-month-old daughter. They even accommodated specific requests (like a dishwasher in the room). The concierge, the pool, the bar, and the lobby were all very pleasant. This hotel truly deserves its 5 stars and is very kid-friendly. One small drawback was the parking. We were told not to necessarily reserve a space, and upon arrival, the parking lot was full (we may have misunderstood). However, a solution was found without any problems or delays.

08/06/2026: Passing through Deauville for the CSIO, I stopped for tea and to work at the hotel bar. The white tea was delicious, the service impeccable—no complaints there. However, in the bar, I had the charming company of a mouse, which accompanied my tea by scurrying between my legs, wandering between the restaurant area and the lobby, nibbling on leftover chips on the carpet and tiles. I reported Ratatouille's presence to the bar staff, who assured me that management would be informed. While my initial aim in reporting this wasn't to obtain compensation, which I politely declined, a gesture of goodwill would have been appreciated in a 5-star establishment with this level of service. This comment is not intended to recoup anything retroactively. But simply to ensure that this experience isn't repeated by other customers in the coming weeks, and that the relevant teams are indeed alerted. This contrast clashes with the place and its legendary atmosphere.

17/05/2026: The welcome is warm, the food is good and plentiful, the service is quick. What more could you ask for? If only all restaurants today could be like this…

14/05/2026: We received a very warm welcome, having booked that very morning. We enjoyed a delicious meal, the meat was excellent, and the gourmet coffee was perfect. It's a shame it was a public holiday, so there was no set menu, only à la carte options. The service was also very good.

04/08/2026: We are going on holiday, but we can't wait to come back to electrify our ears again, and be greeted by the smiles of the other dancers and staff.

03/08/2026: We had a wonderful time celebrating my mother's birthday this Sunday at lunchtime. The staff was fantastic! Everyone was friendly, energetic, and very attentive to our needs. The dishes were beautifully presented, and everything was delicious! Thank you to the entire team at La Belle Epoque.

08/05/2026: The restaurant disappointed us from the moment we made the reservation, as we were asked to arrive at 12:45 PM to facilitate organization. Upon arrival, we were seated on the terrace in chilly weather, while the dining rooms were empty. The food was served lukewarm, which did not improve the experience. The only positive point was the friendliness of the staff.

16/05/2026: Excellent meal, perfect welcome – a place I highly recommend. We made a last-minute reservation for 14 people and they managed to accommodate us. I recommend them 100%.

16/05/2026: We had a wonderful time at Le Galoupet restaurant. Charlotte was exceptionally welcoming and gave us excellent advice. The meal was excellent, unpretentious, and very affordable. Charlotte, keep up your sense of humor! It's a shame we're not from the area because I think this restaurant would become our go-to spot!
