10/02/2026: We had a family lunch for a birthday on a Sunday at noon, and everything was perfect. Impeccable welcome and service, very good traditional cuisine, lovely comfortable setting with several dining rooms.

20/12/2025: This place is great, but if you come on the weekend there are very few people and it becomes awkward.

28/02/2026: Beautiful traditional setting and excellent Alsatian dishes: baeckeoffe and sauerkraut, plus blueberry tart for dessert. A truly delightful and enjoyable experience.

24/02/2026: A delightful discovery! The generous portions are exactly what you'd expect from Alsatian cuisine, but the flavors are delicious. The price is very reasonable compared to some of their competitors who don't hesitate to inflate the bill.

15/03/2026: We came for a quiet family evening to enjoy ourselves. Unfortunately, when the aperitifs were served, the waiter spilled a glass of grenadine soda on my sweetheart's back. I won't lie, it ruined our meal. The waiter barely apologized… A waitress then arrived and kindly offered to wash my sweetheart's shirt and jacket. When the bill came, I was expecting a small gesture of goodwill or something complimentary. But no, nothing at all. I'm really disappointed 😞

02/10/2025: A very pleasant surprise to discover this restaurant. In an old stone setting, this old village house, superbly enhanced by the decor, its soft and slightly vintage atmosphere, is worth a stop. Too bad it's closed all winter.

The food was excellent and the service was very fast. I would also like to compliment the squid tentacles, which were absolutely succulent!! All in all: a delightful evening thanks to the team at the Calicots restaurant. Thank you!

25/10/2025: I rediscovered the kohlschag with a real atmosphere of the farm inns of Alsace and good mountain gastronomy, I was happy to rediscover the spirit of the Vosges outings of my childhood.

29/09/2025: Very good farm produce. After a short stroll around the area, a break is a must, and the location is perfect. We were very welcomed. This is our second time here, and it's still just as good and delicious.

11/03/2026: I just left this restaurant. I arrived very early (11 am!) and asked if, by any chance, they offered anything to eat besides the bar. They offered me several options, including the daily special, which was already ready (beef tongue)! The welcome was fantastic and the atmosphere was great. I had a wonderful meal! 12/12/2025: A warm welcome, consistent service, and a lovely setting. The dishes are very good and generously portioned; a hidden gem, almost undiscovered despite being right next to the train station. The terrace is pleasant and sheltered from the traffic. We will definitely return.

15/12/2025: ❌❌I will never eat at this restaurant! I have no idea about the quality of the food, but the waiters are aggressive (a small blonde woman and a dark-haired man in their forties). My mother and I were verbally attacked by their friend, the owner of the restaurant “Le Serre,” and without even trying to understand the situation, they came and yelled at us to defend her, even though she was, of course, indefensible. Therefore, it's best to avoid this establishment to punish their indefensible behavior towards customers.

12/10/2025: Great place and service 🧡 The food was also really delicious, however the profiterole was a bit dry so that takes the stars down. BUT we will come again and would definitely recommend the place.
